“Ha your fucking stupid if you think I’m leaving you fucking old poof”he said sneering at Captain.

Taking a sip from his glass Captain chuckled loudly.”Your choice ducky, leave or prison it doesn’t bother me”.he said smirking back at Graham.

Scowling Graham went to move forward towards Captain before Sharon raised the bottle again.”Fucking try it” she snarled gritting her teeth at him.”Well what’s he talking about then?” Graham asked angrily.

My face and body screamed with pain, watching Captain I noticed him bob his head towards the dark corner Where coats hang from the wall.”That’s what I mean you brain dead Neanderthal of a man” he said looking at a red small light.

Squinting his eyes Graham looked at the light for a few seconds.”What the fuck is that?” He asked looking back at Captain.

“That there sweety is my new cam corder, the smallest they’ve made yet,better still it has just recorded your assault on my friend and your confession.I can’t wait for the police to see it” said Captain smiling before taking another sip from his glass.

“You fucking gay cunt” Graham said curling his manly hand into a fist.”They won’t see it if it’s smashed up” he growled moving forward again.

Quickly I reached out and put my hand up to his shoulder.”I don’t think so” I said loudly.

Suddenly he turned ripping my hand away from his shoulder.”Get off me you _agan scum” he sneered punching me hard in the stomache.

Pain ripped through me again,winded I fell back to the floor holding my stomache.

“I WARNED YOU” I heard Sharon scream before I heard a sickly thud.

“AAAARGH YOU LITTLE BITCH” I heard Graham shout.looking up I watched as he struck out and Slapped Sharon on her left cheek with the back of his hand.”YOU STUPID GIRL YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME” he raged holding the back of his head with his with his left hand.

Sharon gave out a quick shocked scream,falling heavily on the floor her skirt rode up past her naked hips.”I should have known you’d end up a slut like that bitch you live with” growl Graham as he looked down at the stunned Sharon.

“Leave her alone you bully” said Captain trying to sound aggressive standing looking fearful at him.

“What the fuck you going to do?”sneered Graham looking at Captain as he strode forward and grabbed Sharon’s hair tight in his big fist.

“Owe Graham get off me” Sharon begged putting her small hands up trying to release his hold on her.

Fear grew across Captains face,stepping forward he quickly reached over and grabbed the camcorder from its hiding place amongst the coats.”Your not getting your hands on this, your fucked” he quickly said before stepping back into the kitchen and shutting the door.

“You need to be taken into hand girl” spat Graham angrily pulling her up by her hair.”FUCK OFF ME YOU BASTARD” screamed Sharon desperately trying to kick out at him.

Laughing he spun her round to the stairs”I’m going to enjoy punishing your arse” he laughed pushing her forward.

With his back to me he didn’t see me struggle to stand up.Anger raged through my veins as I watched him pull up Sharon’s skirt to reveal her naked shapely bottom.

A large wound on the back of his head bled openly where the bottle had struck him.”Leave her alone you wanker” I hissed as I launched myself at him and punched his bleeding wound.

Howling in pain he let go of Sharon and spun round.”Little fucking twat” he snarled punching me hard in mouth.

A flash of white light flashed across my eyes as the back of my head struck the wall behind me.

Slowly the vision of Grahams shocked face faded out to blackness.

Sharp foul smelling air filled my nostrils as I quickly come to.”Eeew what the fuck is that” I mumbled putting my hands up to my face.”Oh Lord Dannyboy you scared the hell out of us” I heard Captains voice say loudly.Opening my eyes I was relieved to see Sharon and Captain looking down at me.

“Did I win” I asked stupidly looking back up at them.Smiling but with a concerned looked on her face Sharon stroked my head.”Not quite cuz, but I think he thought he had killed you”. She said softly.

Slowly I tried to sit up”Where is he now?” I asked coming to more.”He ran out the house in a real hurry when you went down,so I’d say he is probably escaping town sweety” Captain said pushing me gently back down.”Stay there Dannyboy you probably have a concussion” he said looking worried.

“No im fine really” I mumbled feeling embarrassed that I had been knocked out.”What was that awful smell?” I asked sitting up slowly.

“Sorry sweety it was smelling salts,I really think I should call an ambulance “ Captain said looking at Sharon concerned.

“Ambulance!,no honest I’ll be ok” I said shaking my head and sitting up more.”Well at least let me look at your lip and face” he said helping me to my feet.

My legs felt like jelly, Sharon and Captain both looked at each other as I walked slowly into the kitchen.”Just pour me a large drink, I need one” I joked slumping hard down into a wooden chair at the table.

Sharon quickly sat down next to me and put her arm round me.”Thankyou cuz, you saved me from that psycho” she whispered smiling at me.

My head swam as I looked back her” Did he hurt you ?” I asked tasting blood in my mouth.

“He probably would have done if it wasn’t for you” she whispered picking up a napkin and dabbing it to my swollen lip. “My heart skipped a beat as I looked into her green eyes.”I’d die before I let anyone hurt you” I said quietly.

Smiling Sharon half closed her eyes and put her face closer to mine.”Don’t say that” she whispered before kissing my swollen lip gently.

“Here you are Dannyboy” Captain said turning round from the kitchen side with a pint glass of lager.”You truly are a night in shining armour lovey” he smiled placing it in front of me.

Suddenly the doorbell rang making Captain jump and look round at the front door.

“Oh shit, what if it’s him back again?” he asked looking back at us both scared.

Picking up the glass I quickly d*unk down half its contents then placed it hard down onto the table.

“Well if it is I’ll be ready for him this time” I muttered loudly before getting up from my chair and striding to the kitchen side.Picking up a full big bottle of wine by its neck I walked out of the kitchen and into the hallway.”Wait for me cuz” I heard Sharon say hurrying behind me.

Trying to look through the smoked glass window of the front door my heart began to beat fast with adrenaline. Quickly moving my right hand up to the door knob I swang open the front door.

With mascara now streaked down her face Anne looked up at me with tearful eyes.”Please help me” she sobbed uncontrollably.

My heart sank as I looked at Anne crying uncontrollably.Her blonde untidy hair clung to her wet face.”Anne what’s happened?,come here” I gasped reaching out and pulling her to me.

Shutting the front door I held her slim quivering cold body tight to mine.Grabbing me tightly she put her face into my shoulder and sobbed loudly.

“Anne! What’s happened? are you ok?” Sharon asked walking quickly up the hallway.

“No it was horrible,my dad’s thrown me out” Anne sobbed.”He hit me,then dragged me down the street”she cried.

Looking shocked Sharon put her hand up to Anne’s shoulder and pulled her gently from me.”Why? Why would he do that?” She asked hugging her tightly to herself.

“Please don’t let them get me” Anne wailed as Sharon slowly led her down the hallway towards the kitchen.

Standing watching the two scared girls disappear into the kitchen I shook my head in disbelief.’What the fucks happening’ I thought to myself as I heard Captains voice from the kitchen.”Oh Annie sweetheart,who has done this to you?” I heard him gasp as the sound of Annes sobbing echoed down the hallway.

“He was waiting for us” I heard Anne say as I quickly turned to the front door and reached up to the new looking deadbolt that was screwed above the window. “Who was?” I heard Sharon ask.,THE VICAR” Anne sobbed loudly

“Drink this Anne sweety, it’ll help “ said Captain placing a mug of tea in front of her.Sadness crept into my soul as I stood in the kitchen doorway looking at the deep bloody scratches on Anne’s bare legs.

Sharon sat next to Anne wiping the mascara off her blackened cheeks gently with a dampened flannel.”It’s ok now, your safe” she said softly running her left hand through Annes messed up hair.

“It was awful” Anne said putting her small hands round the steaming mug.pulling out the wooden chair next to Captain I sat down.“So what happened?” I asked looking at Anne sipping her drink

.Slowly she took the mug away from her mouth and looked over at me with tearful eyes.”I got home to find my clothes thrown all over the front garden.I didn’t get a chance to ask why as my dad flew at me as soon as I walked through the door.He slapped me so hard” she sobbed.

Sharon tutted and put her arm round Anne “oh Anne, I’m so sorry” she said hugging her tight.

“He said I was a slut and had brought shame to his family, said he was told in the pub that I’d been seen acting like a _agan slut round the village” she sobbed.

“Why would he listen to them and not his own daughter?”I said out loud shaking my head.

“Because Dannyboy sweety,Anne’s dad is a member of the village council and sadly one of Troys congregation “ said Captain looking at me.

“He dragged me by my hair to the church,he said the vicar was going to help punish me and get the devil out of me” Anne said looking up at us all.

“Did Troy hurt you Annie?” Captain asked leaning forward in his chair.Shaking her head Anne sniffed and looked down at the table.”No but he would have done if I hadn’t escaped,he was waiting for us at the church with four other people” she said before she began to cry again.

“What people? Who were they?” Asked Sharon rubbing Anne’s arm with her hand.”I don’t know they were wearing black hooded cloaks I couldn’t see their faces, I was so scared” Anne sobbed shaking her head.

“It’s ok you’re safe now” said Sharon as she looked up at me and Captain with wide eyes.”I’m going to take her back to mine, just in case her dad comes here” she said with a worried expression on her face.

Nodding Captain agreed and got up quickly from his seat”Make sure you ring me as soon as you get in, let me know you’re both safe” he said helping Anne up from her chair.

My mind ran with so many questions but I knew Anne couldn’t take anymore tonight.”I’ll get my jacket” I said quickly standing up from my chair.

“No cuz, you stay here with Captain tonight just in case you know who returns” Sharon said looking at me as she led Anne out into the hallway.

Nodding I watched Captain help Sharon to the door with Anne.”Don’t forget Sharon sweety, soon as you get in” Captain said unlocking and opening the front door.

I felt torn between wanting to be with the girls and staying with Captain as I sat slowly back down at the table. Raising my hand to my face I touched my swollen eye with my finger tips. “Fuck it still hurts” I said out loud wincing as a sharp pain shot through my eye socket.

“Well the best thing for that Dannyboy is a long soak in the bath” said Captain as he walked back into the kitchen.
