Straight acting but BI neighbour

The year is two thousand. I had been in my new flat less than six weeks after my divorce when I crashed my car. My children decided not to have any contact with me. I was feeling fed up to put it mildly. Nothing was going right.

After lugging home my supermarket shop, which was one mile away, I climbed my stairs. When I reached the top, I found my new neighbour’s furniture and boxes blocking my access to my flat. I shouted for help. Four people came running out of the flat apologising and quickly moving their boxes and settee.

2 hours later, there was a knock on my door. I opened the door to find two lovely apologetic people. I invited them in. I had to tell them to stop apologising. I introduced myself and made them a drink. Claudia, a German girl in her late forties met Mark (a Londoner like me now living in Essex) whilst working for an IT company. She explained that she lived in Rothenborg nine months of the year. In England for 3 months. Mark said that he spent most of his time in England but spent about three working months and his annual holiday with Claudia in Germany. I enjoyed their company as they talked about how they met, their jobs and living in both Germany and the UK. Whilst neither were beautiful /handsome their personalities made me warm to them.

After they left, I did not see them for weeks. I was working away and so were they. I came home from work when I met Mark on the stairs. He said Claudia was in Germany and he was working from home. He suggested meeting up for a drink. I agreed.
