As a floor layer you get to work in private homes as well as offices, I get to met lots of people when I’m visiting their homes to measure up for quotes, you never get every job but I have been quite lucky with work.

And you do get asked if you’ve been lucky enough to have a bit of fun with a customer, this for me had never happened until recently.

I had a call to quote the downstairs of a house about 30 mins from home, as I pulled up it was a big detached house nice long driveway and so quiet.

A few evenings later after sending off my quote to Sue and Sam I received a call from Sam, he was happy with the cost and wanted to arrange a date for me to start, checking my diary I scheduled them in for a few weeks time.
