Stranded in Berlin

My flight was delayed getting into Berlin and I knew would miss my connecting bus, I went in hope the bus was delayed terminus was empty no more buses that night, which was very hot, I spotted a kiosk nearby I ordered a bottle of Helles whilst trying to work out what to do.

The guy from the kiosk came over with a cold beer have another am closing soon in perfectly good English was late 60s short grey hair in fitted shorts and a tight t shirt, thank you I replied he said no more buses, I know I said explaining flight delayed, please I will join you and we drink beer

He grabbed a beer and sat on bench beside me, warm and sticky tonight very hot, what will you do, I was stuck at Berlin airport with no idea or accommodation..I don't know yet I replied, well my apartment is not far I am going home to have a cool shower then head into town you are welcome to join me and inadvertently patted my leg.
