Both guys spoke in general how life was etc nothing serious/

Josh knocked on Steve's door and said I can have a look and see what might be the problem with your car. Steve was just out the shower and said there are the keys, will be out in a few mins just get some clothes on. Josh with a cheeky comment, that was not heard by Steve.

After having a fair amount to drink Josh walked home the few yards that was needed and shouted to Steve, if you need an extra hand or anything just let me know as he grinned.

As Steve finally was on the home straight so to speak from his jog he saw the young guy leave Josh's and we both nodded not that we knew each other. After Steve had showered, had lunch, Josh knocked on his door and was wanting a chat and and a few beers etc.

The following week the two guys passed each other daily until the Friday when Steve asked Josh if he was free on Saturday for his sideline and see what happens.
