It's a difficult one. Some people get put off by seeing someone with too many verifications. I've just rejoined the group so building up verifications again and if I have a good session with someone usually ask if they want a verification.

It can be annoying. Just recently I've had 3 guys display my verification of them, but the 2 that said they would verify me haven't - one of these guys is relatively new and was nervous, I took time to make him feel comfortable and at ease.
