I’ve been to ME1 several times, I’m always nervous walking up to the steps, but then relax when I get through the door. Once inside I pay and get the towels(or not!) and make my way to the changing area. After a look around downstairs, steam room & sauna, I usually make my way upstairs to the play rooms. Like you I have been to the bi nights, but over the last few years I've found the naked Wednesdays are much more to my liking.
