Continued from part 2:
Marion and I get in the car and close the doors, my heart is still racing from my brush with a man and the compliment passed on by Marion - did he know I was also a man, he could only really see the back of me and Marion thinks I have got great legs and a pert little bottom so maybe he really did think I was a woman! As I look out the windscreen into the dark sky thinking about my first soirée into Sienna world, I get a serious twitch without any encouragement, I look down into my lap and Marion asks everything OK? I mumble erm oh yes sorry and she lets out a little chuckle and says you where miles away then, where you thinking about your new friend by any chance and then starts to laugh, should we stop and pick him up on the way home as she waves the wine around and with that I turn and smile and say he has probably had enough if he thinks I’m lovely or he needs an eye test…
I start the car and we make our way back home to Marion’s, as we driver back Marion suggests that we stop at another location, I’m a bit unsure and nervous but she insists and directs me to a road close to the A12 that has a long lay-by with a few articulated Lorrie’s parked up, she tells to drive past all the vehicles and park at the end. As I roll to a stop and pull on the handbrake Marion quickly kisses me and tells me to turn off the ignition which I do. There is not much in the way of street lighting so once my lights went out the lay-by was pretty dark and this is when Marion said right let’s go for a little walk, thankfully my heart rate had slowed dramatically but it soon started to race again after that suggestion, I take my time to answer as I think about the consequences of a parked up driver looking out the window or maybe a car pulling in and seeing us in a lay-by surrounded by lorries- they are going to think we are looking for fun however before I could say any of this Marion had opened the door and was getting out, she closed her door behind her and nipped round to my door and opened it, come on she said a quick walk up and down and then we can home and open the wine, as I got out of the car looking around nervously I see lights in the lorry cabs, I voice my concerns and Marion as cool as you like replies by saying well if a lorry driver is interested take it as a compliment! I lock the car and start walking back up the lay-by past the first lorry, you can see light flickers in the cab most likely from a television, we are trying to be quiet but our heels are pretty noisy on the tarmac! We continue to walk past every lorry and get to the end of the lay-by, we stop and wait as Marion is looking around, I’m keen to return to the car but Marion is enjoying watching me squirm - just relax she says, what is the worst that can happen? As we walk back to the car a door on a lorry in front of us opens and the driver gets out, we continue to walk and the sound of our heels gets his attention as he turns and looks us both up and down several times, Marion takes the lead and immediately says seen anything you like love and the driver smiles and responds with oh yes, two for the price of one is it? We continue to walk past and Marion replies with maybe but not tonight, we speed up a little and continue walking past him towards the car when some light shines on us from behind, we continue to my car when the lights behind us go out. As we arrive at my car I unlock it and both Marion and and I quickly get in and Marion says well that was fun! We sit in the car for a minute as I ask Marion do you think the lorry driver thought I was a woman and she responds most probably as the light is pretty poor and you didn’t speak! With that I start the car and say to Marion now can we go home to which the answer is yes! As I start to move forward Marion suggests that I turn round and go back the way we came, when I get to the end of the lay-by I can turn round and then we slowly go back up past all the lorries, just as we near the last lorry Marion says oh god that is Anne & Kevin’s car, as we pass the lorry we can see Anne & Kevin standing with the driver but thankfully they are to engrossed in the driver to notice us driver past! Once we are back on the main road I speed up and head back to Marion’s, we had a long discussion about what just happened!
To be continued…
