NOAH....sorry but me again!

I was shitting myself as I walked into Jason's office !!

He pointed to a chair by the conference table...

I sat down and must have looked a bit pale as he asked if I was ok?..

He asked how Nathan was getting on as he's heard his a bit of a prankster!!

Jason thinks he will fit in nicely judging from his exhibition at the dining table, roping not only you and Zak in but Aiden as well...and Lewis seems a nice easy going lad as well?

I agreed and thought the chat was over.....

Then Jason said "ok well let's now get down to how the business is going shall we?"

My heart missed a beat.......

Jason looked directly at me...he's eyes felt like they were burning into my brain!!!

He handed me 4 sheets of A4 paper which contained the order details of customers who had ordered bouquets etc from our online shop that Aaron set up for the Flowery which were then delivered......

I looked through the 4 sheets as Jason asked me if I noticed anything that we could use to our advantage?

I didn't notice anything!!!!

He told me to look at the delivery addresses.........

About 70% were in the county....

I immediately then realised wot he was talking about!!

I then said, feeling really smart with myself, "we have our little sign written van which we could use to deliver the flowers ourselves instead of paying courier fees! In fact we could then employ another member of staff to not only deliver them, but help in the workshop!"

Jason smiled......"well done Noah,

I'll leave that to you to sort out then"

I went back to the staff quarters and found Zak, Aaron, Pat, Merv, Dean, Nathan and Lewis sitting around all dressed in just shorts!!

Dean immediately gave me a hug asking if I was ok?

I told them wot Jason said and the idea I had come up with!

Yes, I'm taking the credit for the delivery idea as I actually said it first!

Hello

NATHAN here!!!

I've never written anything like this before, so I'm a little bit nervous...so please forgive me!!

Obviously, as I'm writing this, I'm still working at the hotel!

But I'm under strict instructions from the big boss (Jason) that I can only talk about when I joined the hotel and not wants happening as in today!

So here goes!!............

My name is Nathan and I was 20 when I joined the staff.

I'm gay and have a lovely boyfriend called Lewis, who's 21 and is a firefighter.

We both live with our parents....

Well Lewis lives with his mum, stepdad and sister. I live with me dad.

I went for an interview at the Flowery after a recommendation from my college......

I saw the boss Noah who offered me the job!

A full time one at that, with free use of the hotels facilities and meals on duty!!

I accepted straight away!!

I knew a bit about the hotel as me and Lewis attended last years blue light gay weekender and we both thought that most of the staff were gay or very good actors considering what their were wearing etc.

Plus of course Arlo and especially Brandon stripping on stage....

I remember that well as both me and Lewis put in £20 each to see Brandon strip on stage!!

Gay people have a 6th sense about 'other' gays if you know what I mean?

I'm a happy go lucky kind of lad, like a good laugh and I love pranking people.. I'm the joker of the pack!!

Unfortunately my Dad is a homophobic piece of shit.....

He's never accepted me being gay.

On the other hand Lewis's mum and stepdad has accepted Lewis being gay and has welcomed me into their family......

Thats nice of them and I spend a lot of time at their home....even being allowed to stay the night in Lewis's bedroom!!! But on the condition that they and his sister can't, as his stepdad says, "hear any sexual activity or moans"...... he is very serious about that as well!!

In fact Lewis's stepdad is a bit of a prankster himself!!

I remember a time when me and Lewis was in their hot tub at the bottom of the garden. The garden was about 200 foot long!

His parents and sister had gone away for the weekend so we decided to skinny dip in the hot tub!!!

We didn't hear them return and didn't realise wot the time was!!

We got out of the hot tub and walked up the garden, still butt naked, and walked into the living room, via the patio doors, to see his mum and stepdad sitting there looking at us!!!

They saw us both as naked as the day we were born!!

Jesus......

Talk about being embarrassed!!

NATHAN writing still....

Within 2 weeks of me starting work at the Flowery, I tried to pull one 'prank' that spectacularly back fired on me......

It made me feel so embarrassed and humiliated so much so, that I offered my resignation.....

I upset a lot of the lads, including Jason and Leo, but mainly the lovely Harry....

I swear I didn't know about Harry's health condition at the time or I definitely wouldn't have done what I did.

I was a stupid fool who upset Harry badly resulting in both him and me crying.

Even today it upsets me when I think about it.....

Jason has told me I don't have to write about it but I feel that I need to publicly apologise to Harry.

I was so, so stupid and insensitive it's unbelievable....

I will add here that Harry has forgiven me and holds no malice against me.....in fact he's one of my best friends now......

How could I have been so insensitive to Harry??

I felt and still feel totally ashamed of what I did.

I noticed that Harry always wears either his chef's hat or a beanie.

I never ever saw him without one of these hats on.

Even when he was in his flat dressed in just shorts and sliders, he had his beanie hat on.

In fact...

Even at the gym he had his beanie hat on!!!

Anyway....here goes.....

We had finished work and Lewis was on one of his days off so we decided to have evening meal at the hotel and then socialise with the lads in the bar.

It was all going well, it was jovial and everybody was laughing and joking.

Then I done the bloody unthinkable!

I made a grab for Harry's beanie hat trying to pull it off.....

I mearnt it as a joke, nothing more, nothing less, just a joke.

Now I'm bigger than Harry, I'm taller and heavier..

BUT.......

As I went to grab it off his head, Harry shot up from the chair, and before I knew it I was on the floor on my back with Harry sitting on me swearing with his fists raised!!

Trust me....don't bloody mess with Harry!!!

My lovely Lewis, who's bigger than me, obviously tried defending me...

He didn't stand a chance as John used his martial arts skills and put him on his back and put him in a head and arm lock!!!!

It then kicked off big time!!

Luke and Tony was trying to get Harry off me!!!

Jesus wept.....Harry is so physically strong!!

Amyway they eventually got him off me......

The next minute we all heard an almighty shout of "ENOUGH!"

It was Jason shouting......

All the lads stopped talking and shouting and looked at Jason.

Luke and Tony let go of Harry and John let Lewis go.

Harry was really worked up and in tears....

Jason looked at Harry and me and told us to "get in my office NOW you 2"

We both walked to the office following Jason

We went in and Jason told us to sit down.....

He asked "what the hell is going on? Fucking tell me now!"

I told him that as a prank I tried nicking Harry's beanie hat......

I saw the tears in Jason's eyes when I told him that......

Harry had managed to compose himself and told Jason....."I don't think he knows dad"

Harry then removed his beanie hat..

Jesus, I felt so sick.....

The scar on his head was horrific.

What the fuck had I done!!!

I started crying and apologising to Harry.....

How could I have been so nasty and callous to him....I should have realised why he always had a hat on, it's not rocket science is it?

I felt so sick....physically sick.

Harry put his beanie hat on and apologised to Jason and then walked out of the office!

I was now really crying my eyes out.

NATHAN.....

I Sobbed.....

How cruel am I?

Wot has Harry ever done to me? apart from being the most caring loving person in the hotel, and this is how I treated him!

I'm a complete and utter bastard!!

I left the office to find Lewis waiting for me in reception

I fell into his arms, still sobbing my heart out....

No way on earth did Harry deserve to be treated like that.....

I needed to see Harry and apologise to him....

I asked Billy if he had seen where Harry went?

He told me that him and Luke headed towards his flat.....Harry was really upset....

I asked if I could go and see him but Billy was hesitant saying it would be best to wait until tomorrow.

I couldn't wait, I NEEDED to apologise to him now not tomorrow.

In the end Billy gave me the lift card key to get me to the staff flats.

Lewis waited for me in reception.

I got to Harry's flat and knocked on the door.....

I was suprised that Tony answered the door.....

He wouldn't let me in telling me "now isn't the time"

I begged.....

Eventually he let me in......

Harry, dressed in just a pair of shorts minus his beanie hat was laying across Luke who was massaging Harry's head....

I walked over, tears running down my face and apologised to him....

Harry didn't reply or say anything, nor did he even look at me!!

I felt so bad.....

I left, went back to reception and asked Lewis to take me home.....

The next morning I didn't attend breakfast.....

I arrived at 08.50am with Lewis and instead of going to the Flowery I headed to reception and asked to speak to Jason......

Jason arrived and we went into the office.....leaving Lewis sitting in reception.

He invited me to sit down and then called Leo in.

I explained how guilty I felt about the situation that happened last night and gave Jason an envelope, which contained my resignation.

He read it and then handed it to Leo who read it as well.

Leo left the office.

Jason asked if I really wanted to resign as it was a simple prank that unfortunately went wrong as I didn't know the circumstances regarding Harry.

Jason told me that he believed their was no malice involved, it was an honest mistake...

The next minute Leo and Harry entered the office.

I saw Harry and started crying.

Then.....

To my utter suprise, Harry sat next to me, told me to look at him and then removed his chef's hat.....

I cried more on seeing the scar on his head.

He grabbed my hand and made me feel the scar saying "right, you're seen and felt it now"

He then stood up, put his chef's hat back on and took my resignation letter from Leo and tore it up into little pieces!.....

He then asked for a hug!!!

HARRY YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HUG MEANT TO ME

As he was walking to the door he said "no more talk of leaving mate. You didn't know... but if you pull another trick like that on me I'll fuck you to death!"

He then left the office with Leo.

Jason handed me a tissue to wipe my eyes and then told me he's giving me a verbal warning for being late for work as its now 09.12am!!

He then told me to piss off as Noah will be wondering where the hell I am!!

I left the office, went and gave Lewis a hug and told him I'm staying.

He hugged me back and headed forth gym!

Hello peeps!!!

HARRY, Harry Webber here now!

Nathan was a prick....

He was a prankster.....

He enjoyed winding up the Flowery lads and anybody else he felt like.

It was all harmless fun if I'm honest....

I did like it when he came into the kitchen and saw Alex wrapping the sandwiches for my midday tea trolley run and asked him to wrap Noah's sandwich up with 10 times the normal amount of clingfilm!

He was a bugger, but like I said, all harmless fun.....

Until that is he tried taking my beanie hat off when we were all in the bar.....

I won't repeat that story as Nathan clearly has written it as it happened.....

The next day I was in the kitchen when Leo came in and handed me Nathan's letter of resignation.

What????

I couldn't believe that he was actually going to resign!!

Yes, admittedly I did 'sit on him, ready to punch his lights out' until I was pulled off him and yes, unfortunately Lewis tried helping Nathan which resulted in John flooring him and putting him in a head and arm lock.....

And yes I did ignore him when he came to my flat apologising....

In hind sight that was, I suppose, pretty childish on my part?

But him wanting to resign over it was a bit too far!!

For gods sake, some of the lads here have had some real proper arguments including actually punching each other!!!

Now, I liked both Nathan and Lewis. I thought they were 'alright' lads. Both polite, friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their faces.

No way was I going to be responsible for him leaving....

So I went to Jason's office with Leo, showed him and made him feel my scar and for the life of me I don't know why I said that if he pulls another stunt like that, that "I would fuck him to death!"

But I did hug him.

Anyway, as you know I ripped up his resignation letter into small pieces.

I got called back to the office 10 minutes later and Jason handed me the vacuum cleaner and told me to clear up the mess I made!!!

So......

Nathan is still working here and Lewis spends a lot of the time here in the gym and having meals....

I don't know whether Jason or Nathan, will edit this next part but all I'm going to say is the following......

Nathan and Lewis soon after this incident held a 'celebration' party here and asked me .........well I'll just say asked me to do/be something which made me so happy and I agreed without any hesitation!

Jason back now!

(Thank you for all your kind and supportive messages....sorry if I haven't replied to you individually)

Thank you lads, for continuing with this and being so honest and upfront.......

Anyway.......

The hotel is busy, all departments especially Harry and Liam cakes as we are in the wedding season and of course the Flowery.

Noah was trying to get a delivery driver to help in the workshop as well as deliver the flowers to the customers, which would save us a fortune on courier costs.

Nathan said that Lewis could help out in the busy periods especially on his 4 days off.....

Lewis approached his station commander as he needs permission to do any secondary or voluntary jobs.

As Lewis is still a 'trainee firefighter' he was told that in his initial 2 year training period, secondary employment is not encouraged and is in fact banned due to the intense studying and on the job training.

Well that put paid to that idea!!

But Noah is interviewing a older lady for the full time position.

She has a basic level 1 qualification but is prepared to do level 2 in her own time at evening classes

Plus she already drives small vans as she works for a car parts company, delivering car parts to customers and garages.

She admitted at the interview that she isn't a "spring chicken" anymore and some of the parts she has to deliver are really heavy....

Noah is now testing her skills in the workshop....

Whilst Noah was seeing how 'creative' she was preparing bouquets, me and Leo was looking through her CV and certificates she has.

She is not only a member of the "Institute of Advanced Motorists" but also a voluntary observer helping to get the students ready to take the advance driving test !

Seems an ideal candidate?

I left the Flowery lads, Sue and Leo to deal with the interview and I went for my regular fitness treatment with Tom.

On the way their I saw Lewis come into the hotel with his gym kit...

We both went into the changing room to get changed....

Lewis, again for the umpteen time, thanked me for allowing him to use the gym and stay for evening meal and the occasional breakfast.

He told me that Nathan is really enjoying his job in the Flowery and is so thankful that Harry has forgiven him for the prank he pulled on him which spectacularly back fired on him. He then told me that he never wants to meet Harry or John in a dark alley!! Or get on the wrong side of them!!!

Lewis is another one that likes to shower before a gym session as well as afterwards.....

Lewis has one hell of a fit body!!

He was still talking too me from the shower whilst washing his body!!

He asked if it was true that Dylan does the 'manscaping' of the lads?

I told him he does from a full body shaved to just cock and balls...

Harry has just told me that this is a first for a non member of staff to ever write on here!!!

Well......

The story.....

I always take a shower before I undertake any gym work.... I don't know why to be honest!! Its just I have always done it?

Update

We have just returned from our local war memorial....

It was packed with the general public and the parade featuring the local Uniformed youth groups, along with the Freeman's, the Rotary club etc was good to see

Harry heard the tannoy messaged and he joined us in reception.

Now, Harry knows about cats and immediately told us "thats a litter of 2 meaning she is a first time mum, called a 'Queen', as the average size of second births plus is 4-6 and even bigger. First-time mothers often have smaller litters as their bodies adjust to pregnancy and birth."

Ian asked Harry are they ok? What do I need to do?"

Harry smiled "Observe the new mother cat from a distance to ensure she is caring for the kittens, and provide a warm, safe, and quiet environment for her and the two newborns. Make sure the mother has access to food, water, and a litter box. Mum seems ok, she's not in distress, and the kittens are sucking well. I would suggest you take mum and kittens up to your flat as its quite and safer for them."

Harry then suggested that nobody touches mum or the kittens and to carry them up in Smudges bed all together.....

Ian and Harry started picking the bed up and carefully carried them to Ian's flat with Smudge following them.

It looks like Smudge is now a Dad!!

You could tell by the smiles and laughter on the lads faces that they were all thrilled that not only had Smudge returned but he brought his family with him!!

Well done Smudge!!

Later on the giant TV screen arrived and it took the 2 delivery men some heavy lifting to bring it into the function room and connect it all up etc....

It was bloody huge!!

Then the room started filling up with the sofas from the staff quarters and the other lads flats.

I feel this is going to be a great chilled and relaxed movie night.

Now on the retail park where the Mcdonald is, their is also a KFC and pizza places.

I decided to treat the lads...

There was 48 confirmed attending!!

I phoned the fast food places and placed an order that had to be ready for collection dead on 8.45pm.

I ordered 15 large pizzas, all different topping etc. 15, 14 piece bargin buckets and the itemised Mcdonalds that the lads wanted.

Fuck me, that was expensive!!

John said he will come with me to help pick the food up...

IAN here....

I know I don't write much on here and the others are always asking, so he goes.......

Billy called me to reception...

He showed me the social media post about a missing pregnant cat.

The photo shown, including the yellow neck band, was definitely the cat now in my flat feeding her litter!!!

I messaged the writer explaining what happened and how Smudge also went missing and then returned with the cat and her 2 kittens.

The writer says her 2 little children aged 4 are 6 are crying their eyes out as 'sally' their cat was pregnant and missing.

It was arranged that they come and pick her up with her kittens tomorrow after school.....

She was so thankful that 'sally' had been found safe and well.....

A good ending with 2 happy kids...

I was pleased as it's bad enough having Smudge let alone 2 adult cats and 2 kittens!! Mayhem would have reigned!!!

Plus Harry would have run out of tins of sardines!!!

And when we're on that subject...

I have a bone to pick with you Harry, Harry bloody Webber!!!

I didn't know that these tins of sardines that you feed Smudge and the other little treats you give the bugger you pay for out of your own pocket!!

A bit pissed off about that to be honest Harry.....but thanks mate it is appreciated and if I would have known I would have thanked you!!

Part 2560

Movie night!!!

I'm glad that mother cat and her litter, has what the sounds of it, got a nice loving home to go back too.

The function room looks nice and cosy with all the sofas, chairs, blankets and cushions and of course the huge TV.....

I also noticed that their was a couple of microwaves and hotplates on tables with stacks of paper plates, forks, knives etc.

I also noticed a stack of plastic pint glasses, the ones we use for outdoor functions, on the bar counter.

The lads, especially now Smudge has returned with his family, are now excited about tonight.

I think Pat especially needs to chill out and relax....

He went to see his mum, this afternoon for about an hour but the consultant has told him that they plan to keep his mum in an induced coma for the rest of the week.

Evening meal was earlier at 5.30pm and was a 'light' meal due to the food at the movie night on offer.

I must confess I'm not a lover of stars wars and never have been. Don't think I have ever watched one all the way through?

My lovely Dylan told me that doesn't matter as I need to relax myself and he's looking forward to spending time cuddling up to me under a blanket with interruption.

That sounds so nice!!

On a more serious note Liam and Merv wants me to just mention all the messages and Dm's received about Remembrance parade and especially the love and support you lovely readers have shown them.

Remembrance parade and especially yesterday, Remembrance day, was very emotional for them both.

I gave them yesterday off and they both spent time together and they went back to the local war memorial for silent prayer at 11.00am.

They told me that their was a few people, mainly veterans, their all in silent prayer.

They also told me that at 11.05am the landlord from the pub opposite the memorial came out with Bacon rolls for them, free of charge, and invited them back to his pub for a free drink to toast the 'Not forgotten'

Merv said about 20 went back to the pub and the landlord gave them all whiskeys for the toast..

It must have been very emotional for all present.....

8.00pm

The lads start arriving in the function room in tee shirts, shorts and sliders.

The tee shirts are immediately taken off.

I just knew it....Jack was behind the bar serving the lads!!

I told him that as soon as the movie starts he is to chill with the others and they can help themselves to drinks.

Jack nodded but I could see he didn't want all and sundry behind his bar.....

8.10pm

All 48 of the buggers were now here and either getting drinks off Jack or sitting on the sofas etc.

They were so happy and jovial....

It was nice to see.....

8.15pm..

The 1st of the 3 movies started...

The lads were all snuggled up with their partners under sheets, blankets and duvets....

8.25pm....

Me, John and Henry got into John's van and drove to get the fast food.

Henry came with us as we were getting stuff from 3 different fast food places

Both admitted that they don't like star wars and haven't watch any episodes....they are 'trekkies'...

To you and me that means they prefer 'star trek' the new generation.

I went for the McDonald's. John went for the pizzas and Henry the KFC.

By a absolute miracle all the food was ready and boxed up by 8.45pm!!

We were back at the hotel by 9.10pm.

John's van now stunk of fast food.

As John got his trolley out we wheeled all the fast food into the function room....

The movie was paused.....

Harry told everybody that we should use the microwaves and the hotplates if we need to heat up any food.

Jack and Roger, the sods, immediately went behind the bar telling the lads to come and get their drinks.

Harry, Alex, Sean were heating up the food that needed warming up.

The lads sorted out the McDonald's that they individually ordered and Harry and Alex started cutting up the pizzas and putting on plates and Sean was sorting out the KFC !!

It was bloody typical that John, Henry, Jack, Roger, Sean, Alex and Harry were 'working' instead of chilling out....

I knew this would happen...

I noticed that Aiden and Connor were now naked helping themselves to the food....

This was all that was needed to start a mass stripping of the others.

Within a couple of minutes most were now naked apart from sliders!!!

Harry served me and Dylan with our McDonald's some different pizza toppings and some KFC chicken...

Massive amount of food to be honest!

The lads were truly relaxed...

I then noticed that Harry had put his shorts and tee shirt back on and was loading a box with KFC and pizza and then walked out of the function room

For a moment I was a bit worried that Harry was upset about something but a few minutes later he came back, without the box of food.

Of course, he gave some to Simon at reception!!

Then.........

All the alarms started ringing!!

It was the fire alarm ringing then we heard the automated warning to evacuate the hotel.

We all got up, got dressed and rushed to reception....all 50 of us!

The alarm panel was lite up like a Christmas tree!!

We had multiple fires in 3 different places.......

John and Henry rushed to zone 5 which was by the Flowery quickly followed by Noah and Zak.

Tony, Leo and Joe ran to zone 4 which was the orangery/wedding area.

Liam, Aj, Merv and Pat ran to Zone 2 which was the staff quarters.

Sam was now directing our 14 guests staying overnight to the car park evacuation point.

Our system automatically calls the fire service.....

When we undertake our weekly fire alarm checks, every Monday morning 10.00am, the key we use disables the phone line so the fire service do not attend.

Judging from the information showing on the fire panel, the hotel was indeed on fire......

Part 2563.

We heard the sirens getting closer when John, who took a radio with him, relayed "the Flowery is on fire!! Smoke coming out of the bottom of the doors"

Noooooo... my hotel was on fire.....

I quickly replied "do not, repeat, do not open the doors. Fire brigade nearly here"

The cctv picked up 3 fire tenders driving up the driveway.

About 5 firefighters rushed into reception and I quickly told them it was the Flowery.....

I heard one of the firefighters shout, "follow me" before they rushed out towards the Flowery.

The smoke from the Flowery had gone upwards in direction and the corridor of the staff flats had an open window, hence the smoke alarm going off in that zone.

The Orangery was affected by smoke, hence again that alarm was ringing.

I heard Arlo shout "smudge"

Ian rushed up to his flat......

The fire station commander directed more firefighters to the Orangery and the staff quarters to check them over.

We heard over his radio that the Flowery was indeed in flames and they needed a tender with hoses.

Noah and Zak came back, practically in tears and smelling of smoke....

We then heard over the fire commanders radio "Orangery clear"

Tony ran upstairs with the master cardkey to the staff quarters and staff flats doors and met 2 firefighters....

The 2 firefighters checked every flat and it was only when they finished and one of them got on his radio saying "staff quarters clear" Tony realised the voice belonged to Lewis!!!

Lewis was the one that was in reception who said "follow me" and was then reassigned to check the flats.

It took only minutes for the firefighters to extinguish the flames, yes real flames, my hotel was on fire.....

I felt sick to the stomach.....

I looked at Noah.....

He was being comforted by Dean and Billy....

Zak was being comforted by Aaron.

Noah was really upset and crying.

Their was 13 bouquets finished going out for delivery tomorrow and about £2,000 of flower stock.

One of the leading firefighters came back and said "it looks like one of the desk lamps was left on and the bulb exploded setting the wrapping paper etc on fire. The one in the left corner by the plastic wrap machine?"

After about an hour the firefighters had finished and tidied up as best as they could before leaving.

Lovely Harry, in front of everybody, told Noah......

"Go to the wholesalers tomorrow, get more flowers and tell us what you want us to do to help? We can use the function room as a temporary workshop as nobody is using it tomorrow. Within seconds, 12 of the lads said they would help first thing in the morning to get the newly made bouquets out for later in the afternoon.

Nathan was physically sick on the floor.....

Liam went to help him.....

Nathan looked up and told me.....

"I'm so sorry, it was my fault. I must have left that desk lamp on as I was using the wrapping machine last....I'm so sorry....."

He then burst into tears.......

Noah went over to him, and gave him a hug telling him "it ok Nathan, it's ok mate, it was an accident"

Thank goodness no one hurt and fire out. No one would have expected a bulb to explode. Well everything worked, fire alarms, evacuation and firefighters on site to put it out. Nathan shouldn't feel responsible these things happen.

Noah took Nathan to his flat....

Wasn't a lot we could do now so we all decided to go to bed.....

Next morning....04.15am

I couldn't sleep...

I was worried and a bit upset but relieved if you know what I mean?

I got dressed and headed to see the damage done to the Flowery.....

I got their at 04.30am and found the double doors wide open and voices.

I went in and found Noah, Dean, Zak, Aaron, Adam, Sebastian, John, Henry and Nathan all sweeping up, tidying up and clearing up!!

They all looked at me as I said "morning lads"

Noah smiled and told me that they were "extremely lucky as their isn't much damage and the stock survived along with the bouquets that were out for delivery today."

The damage was in the extension part and luckily enough the connecting door was shut......

Nathan looked at me and again apologised....he had tears in his eyes.

The extension had a bit of smoke damage and the wrapping machine didn't work as the power lead is now burned and of course the bloody desk lamp has melted.

John had a couple of fans going to make it smell a bit better and Henry was washing the walls down.

The smoke and mild damage was contained to just the extension, thank god.

John told me that he has checked the Orangery and all that needs is a good dose of air freshener and all the windows open, and he has already done that.

Apparently the lads were here at 4.00am......

You just have to love them.....

Nathan's not made a good start to his career at the hotel....first the incident with Harry and now this.

Nathan was clearly upset......

When we were away from the others, he asked me if I wanted "him to leave as I hasn't had a great start........and now I am probably hated by the others....especially with the pranks I has pulled, the incident with Harry and now with me nearly burning the hotel down"

I gave him a hug.....

"Nathan, I'm not going to sack you and no I don't want you to leave. Your young and perhaps need to grow up a bit, but, yes, you could have made a mistake, and it was unfortunate the desk lamp bulb exploded. But what I admire most is you immediately owned up to it possibly being your mistake. That doesn't mean it was you who left the light on, as you only THINK it was you. That took guts to admit that. You took responsibility and was honest about it. I like that mate"

Part 2565

As Nathan was hugging me, I heard a car pull up and out gets Lewis....

He had just finished his shift at the fire station and wanted to make sure that Nathan was ok and see if he could help clear up?

Nice lad is Lewis.....

Breakfast was now being served so I told the lads that we should head towards the dining room....

I of course invited Lewis to join us.

Nathan was still a bit tearful and Lewis walked him to the dining room with his arm around his shoulder.

Breakfast today was a healthy full English Breakfast featuring poached eggs, baked beans, low-fat sausages, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms.

Very nice indeed!!

The lads were of course taking the piss out of Nathan.....harmless fun really and Nathan took it on the chin......

It was Harry, surprisingly, who told everybody to "shut the fuck up! It's not on...it could of been worse and somebody could have got hurt. Nathan feels bad about it as it is so give him a break!"

Immediately everybody shut up and stopped apologising to Nathan.

Tony moved towards Nathan and put his hand on his shoulder, telling everybody "Harry's right, knock it off lads, and we don't know if it was Nathan's fault in the first place. He admitted it could have been and probably was his fault but we don't know....but at least he was man enough to say something"

Nathan's eyes started watering, again.......

After breakfast Noah and John went to the flower wholesalers to get some more stock and buy a new wrapping machine.

I took both Nathan and Lewis to my flat so they could chill out a bit as the staff quarters were now nearly full......

I made them both a cappuccino and told them to just relax......

Lewis asked if he could have a shower as he didn't have one when he finished his shift as he wanted to get here to make sure that Nathan was ok.....true love that if you ask me.....

I told him I would get him a clean towel and as I got back to the living room Lewis had already stripped to his boxers.

He had his shower and returned in his boxers and got dressed in the living room!! In front of me and Nathan......

I left them 2 to chill and went down to the Flowery to again see how it was.

John and Henry, just got to love them 2, was now painting the walls again!

It was now like nothing had happened and it was looking good.

They are what I call "Work-a-holics" as they are always working or helping serve the meals or in John's case helping with the Sunday carvery.

A god send to any business.

I went back into reception and found Arlo's office open and heard voices.

I knocked on the door and found Arlo working on a new marketing campaign.

Apparently the blue light gay weekender has confirmed the weekend party and Arlo was coordinating with all the departments again like reception, the kitchen and sorting out the stalls and car parking etc etc.

They have asked Arlo if him and Brandon and Arlos stripping gang are up for putting on some entertainment again!

The Weekender is even bigger this time, with, at the moment, 17 stalls and 6 seperate pieces of entertainment.

They are anticipating having at least over 1,000 visitors!!!

They have sold so far over 800 tickets!!

I left him too it and went back to reception to see Nathan and Lewis come down.....Nathan in his Flowery apron and Lewis holding his gym kit bag....

I asked Nathan if he has heard about the blue light Weekender here?

"Oh god yes, we all got individual emails and posters advertising it! I've already got 4 tickets for it!"

Nathan smiled and asked if he can book one of the bedrooms in the staff quarters for the weekend?

I told him to book it now with Billy.

I jokingly said "it's a wonder you 2 haven't moved in permanently?"

Nathan and Lewis looked at me.....

"You mean you would allow us to move in full time?" asked Nathan

Before I could say anything Nathan then said "that would solve a big problem for us and we know how much it would cost and we can easily afford that!"

I asked Nathan if he is having problems with his apparently homophobic Dad?

Lewis looked stunned at my question and quickly said "could say that" before he quickly changed the subject......

I went to the gym to speak to Lewis and once again, he was in the showers before he hit the gym....

I saw him as he was just coming out of the shower.....

I apologised saying I forgot he showers first and I will catch him later......

He laughted......

"It's ok, you're seen me naked a few times now and I'm ok with it, I'm not shy!"

I then sat down on the bench and asked him if I could ask him a personal question about Nathan? I also told him he doesn't have too answer, but I'm a bit worried about what he said.......

He started drying himself and put on his gym shorts and sat down....

He looked at me whilst drying his legs.....

"When I asked if Nathan was ok and is he having trouble with his Dad, you answered for him saying "could say that?.....can I ask what you meant by that?"

Lewis didn't answer at first, but I could tell he was thinking what he should say to me?

"His Dad is a bastard...he is homophobic and thinks Nathan should see a counsellor to, as he says, 'cure him'....he has banned me from the house as he thinks I'm the reason him being 'bent'....he has also contacted my parents saying what a "disgrace" I am too them. My stepdad told him his fortune saying if he ever slags me off again he will punch his fucking lights out! Me stepdad and mum have accepted me being gay and they like Nathan. Don't tell Nathan that I told you please but he has bruises on his arm where his dad grabbed him"

I was a bit shocked.....

Nathan needs out of that environment NOW! If he has bruises that is assault evidence. Nathan might not want to press charges but it clearly isn't safe for him to be at home
