The reason I have asked this question here and not ireland is because ireland is to small a place. I grew up with a step dad and always knew my real dad was English.

I have been gay and into older men most of my life. I done an Ancestry test as in hope wanted to know who my actual dad was. It turns out I found enough information about his family that I was able to track him down.

It turns out he is the black sheep of his family as he was wild in his younger days and also gay.

My question is should I tell him I am gay also and is it unusual that a dad of a family is gay aswell as 1 of his kids?

I am not asking to be controversial but more so to ask the older bi or gay dads on here if they have gay kids and is it normal or unusual.

Private advice or messages will be welcome.

No we haven't even met up yet. I am going the UK this Sat to meet. But I'm worried with a few drinks on me and how confused I am that I might tell him my tastes.
