I had been chatting to a man for a while, he suggested we meet up for a drink. Although I had been out dressed many times to clubs and parties I had never met in a public place.

He assured me that he knew of a nice quiet pub in the lanes near his home in cwmbran.

So I agreed it was November so it got dark early which gave me more confidence, he told me were to come and I arrived early sitting In my car watching it didn't seem very busy we had arranged for 8pm

There was still 10 mins before I had to go in my phone pinged it was him are you here

As you come in I am on the left

I walk in nobody seemed to take any notice I look to the left and see him at a table I walk over

He gets up gives me a kiss on the cheek you look lovely my dear and we sit down together I take a sip of my wine to calm my nerves

I sit there with a feeling of elation something that I have always wanted to do and thanks to him I have now done it

We sit and chat for ages my fears gone I even go to the bar and get more drinks

We even agree to see each other again

I am so glad I took the plubge
