I thought about it for days.
The conversation with Jamie stayed with me—what his partner actually wanted, the fact that he’d never been the one to take control, the quiet voyeur streak, the way Jamie himself was torn between the heat of being seen and the fear of being looked at differently afterwards. None of it felt simple.
I was back in London on Thursday. Jamie and I kept texting. Not constantly, but enough. We talked about ordinary things first—his shifts, my meetings—then circled back to the watching idea.
Jamie: He asked again last night. Gently.
Me: What did you say?
Jamie: That I was still thinking. That you were too.
Me: True enough.
Jamie: He’s not pushing. Just… open.
Me: How are you feeling about it today?
Jamie: Less scared than last week. Still careful.
By the end of that week we had agreed on something small and practical.
Me: I’m down in Bath the week after next. Weekday evening after work is the only time that works. Maybe the three of us should meet. Public. Just a drink. No decisions required.
Jamie: Yeah. That feels right.
Me: You choose the place.
Jamie: There’s a quiet pub near us. I’ll send the address.
The following Wednesday I finished work and went straight to the pub. I saw them as soon as I walked in.
Jamie was facing the door. The man beside him was dark-haired, clean-shaven at first glance but with a neat stubble that darkened the sharp line of his jaw...... Javier. Chiselled features—high cheekbones, a straight nose, well defined lips, olive skin, dark eyes, thick black hair cut short at the sides. The top two buttons of his shirt were open; a scattering of dark chest hair peeping above his t-shirt neck line. When Jamie saw me he stood up and came straight over. The hug was warm, familiar, a little longer than a casual greeting. I felt the solid shape of him against me for a second before he stepped back.
“Hey,” he said.
“Hey.”
He turned. “This is Javier.”
“Good to meet you,” he said. Soft accent, clear English.
I shook his hand and answered in Spanish, keeping it light.
“Igualmente. Jamie me habló de ti.”
Javier’s eyebrows lifted a fraction, then he smiled properly for the first time.
“Ah, hablas español.”
“Lo suficiente,” I said. “apprendiendo español hace 1 año y viajé mucho a sudamerica”
“ah...bien,” he replied, still in Spanish, the accent warmer now. “Yo soy de Argentina ”
“un país lleno de hombres sexy ”
He laughed out aloud, still holding the handshake a second longer than necessary, then we both switched back to English as we sat down. The short exchange had done something quietly—made the air between us less formal, more direct.
Jamie looked between us, amused. “You two already have a private language?”
“Just a few words,” I said.
But the slut in me had noticed everything: the olive skin, the stubble, the chest hair, the way his voice dropped slightly when he spoke Spanish....which sounded so sexy.
I couldn’t help thinking like this—after all, I am human, and Latinos are so fucking sexy.
I found myself mentally undressing him while we settled—imagining the olive skin bare, the contrast against Jamie’s fairer body, dark hair against pale.
Then my mind went further: how would he be in bed with Jamie? The dynamics. Would Javier stay soft and equal the way Jamie had described, or would something sharper come out once the clothes were off?
I don't know when and how but suddenly the idea of Javier joining in—not just watching—hit with surprising force.
Right behind it came a sharp, almost guilty feeling, as if I were being unfaithful to Jamie. Which was ridiculous—we’d only known each other a few weeks—but it was there all the same. The protectiveness I’d started feeling toward him, the private control we’d built, the way he looked at me when he handed things over. Wanting his partner in the middle of that felt like crossing a line I hadn’t meant to approach. I filed both the desire and the guilt away and kept my face neutral.
We sat. Jamie between us at first, then the conversation settled into something easier than I’d expected. Work, the city, how long Javier had been in the UK, nothing heavy. Javier mostly listened, eyes moving between Jamie and me, not interrupting.
Every so often Jamie’s knee brushed mine under the table and stayed there. I kept catching myself glancing at Javier—the line of his throat, the dark hair at his open collar, the way the stubble caught the low light— and my mind wandered: olive against white, Jamie’s body under or beside his, the possible dynamics between them, and the sharper one of Javier not just watching but joining. Each time the small stab of disloyalty followed. I let it sit.
After the second drink the talk shifted, carefully.
“We’ve been talking about the idea,” Jamie said. “Properly.”
Javier nodded once. “I know what I asked for. I also know it has to work for both of you, or it doesn’t happen.”
I looked at him. “You’ve had other people with you before.”
“Yes. But that was different. Shared. Equal. This would be me watching Jamie give something he doesn’t give me. That’s the part I’m curious about.”
Jamie glanced at me, then back at Javier.
“We’ve been clear that the control stays between us. You’d be there, but you wouldn’t direct anything.”
“I understand,” Javier said. “I wouldn’t want to. I just want to see it.”
The heat in my gut was unexpected and honest. Looking at the two of them—Jamie relaxed beside me, Javier composed and clearly interested, that chiselled face and the dark hair at his collar—I realised the idea had stopped being theoretical. I could picture it. Javier in a chair across the room. Quiet. Watching. The thought of him naked while he watched slid into my head again, olive skin against Jamie’s white, chest hair, the full contrast, and right behind it the stronger pull: him not staying in the chair. The guilt followed. I didn’t push either feeling away.
“If we do this,” I said, “it happens at your place or somewhere private. We set the boundaries before anyone takes their clothes off. Jamie stays focused on me. You stay quiet unless something is wrong. And either of us can stop it at any point.”
Javier nodded. “Agreed.”
Jamie’s hand found mine under the table and squeezed once.
“We’re free next Wednesday evening,” Jamie said after a moment. “After work. If that works.”
I looked at both of them. The careful way Jamie was watching my face. The steady way Javier waited.“Next Wednesday,” I said. “Your place. Early evening. We talk again when I arrive, make sure everything still feels right, and only then decide if we go further.”
Jamie exhaled, a small release of tension. Javier gave a short, almost formal nod.
“Wednesday,” he repeated.
We stayed another half hour. The conversation lightened again—safer ground—but the decision sat between us now, real and dated. When we left the pub Jamie hugged me once more on the pavement. Javier shook my hand again, longer this time, eyes meeting mine with clear interest. Up close the chiselled lines of his face and the dark stubble were even sharper.
“Until Wednesday,” he said.
I walked back toward the hotel with the image of the two of them still clear in my head—Jamie’s familiar warmth, Javier’s quiet, good-looking composure, the imagined contrast of olive skin against white, the chest hair, the stubble, the more complicated knowledge that part of me already wanted Javier to do more than watching. The guilt sat beside it, stubborn and real. In seven days I would walk into their flat and see where this will ultimately lead to.
