This is a true story, only the names have been changed.

The first In-service day after the school summer holidays always begins the same way- a long meeting in the hall where new staff members are introduced and we're updated on any news and developments that have occurred over the six week break. It's the kind of meeting where everyone, apart from management, struggles to concentrate because we'd all much rather be in our classrooms working through our massive 'to do' lists before the pupils arrive.

Being a Primary school, the staff are all female, apart from myself, one other male class teacher, the P.E specialist and the headteacher, so, entering the hall, it was a surprise to spot a very handsome young lad, sitting at the side of the hall, looking like he was feeling nervous and a little out of place.

We've all "been there", first day in a new job, not knowing anyone and apprehensive about how things are going to go- so I did the kind thing and went over and introduced myself.

In an accent that was more 'west coast' than Edinburgh, he told me that his name was Ewan, he was 18, this was his first ever job and that he'd be based in the school's additional support unit in the mornings and supporting teaching staff in classrooms during the afternoons.

As the headteacher began the meeting, I sat down to Ewan's left, slightly behind him, affording me the opportunity to look him over without arousing suspicion.

Ewan had fair hair, green eyes, high cheek bones, was well groomed, slim and was slightly smaller than me. The tight grey joggers, white T-shirt and Adidas trainers and white ankle socks gave him a bit of a 'chav' look.

In short, I liked what I saw.

After the introductions of the new staff members, the headteacher launched into one of those mind-numbingly, tedious "ice-breaker" exercises. We were each issued with a 4X4 grid, with different categories in each box and we had to go round the hall and chat to different colleagues and find someone who matched a heading for each box.

It was along the lines of .......... "Who has...?"

-read a book this summer.

-been to a fringe show.

-broken the new inner-city 20mph speed limit..... Completely boring, but it did offer me the opportunity to further study Ewan as he went about the task in hand.

Damn, those grey joggers did him many favours. His ass was small and firm and by the looks of what was happening around the front, he was freeballing.

I sat where I was and just filled a few spaces on my grid with random names- ever the rebel! I was joined by my workmate Kirsty who had much the same and we proceeded to catch up with each other's news. Ewan made his way over when the headteacher announced "one more minute" and seemed genuinely worried that his grid wasn't complete. We reassured him that no-one really cared and I said he could add my name to the box titled

-has binge-watched a TV series.

"Cool", he said. "Which one?"

"Heated rivalry", I replied, holding his gaze and looking for a reaction.

He smiled and flashed me his perfect teeth. He then scribbled down my name in the alloted box and settled back into his seat, turning and smiling at me again as he did so.

I expect both and if I don’t get both they go.

The lack of discipline can be traced back to the national union of teachers campaigning for and eventually getting the cane removed from the teachers hand.

The first part of the in-service day finished around 11.45a.m, giving us a precious three quarters of an hour in our classrooms before our lunch break.

I'd come into school over the holidays so my room was already fully set up and I was 'good to go'. I turned on my laptop and proceeded to trawl through 6 weeks of unopened emails. Most didn't warrant a second glance but the 3 most recent from the headteacher were clearly important.

The first, headed 'Timetables 26/27' detailed when I'd have non-class-contact-time, when my class would be taught P.E and French by the respective specialists.

The second was the 'Additional Support Needs timetable'. Result! Ewan was assigned to help in my class for 45 minutes each afternoon.

That was going be a god-send. Not only would I appreciate the extra pair of hands in class, but I'd also have eye-candy into the bargain.

I quickly printed a copy of both.

The third email was headed 'Confidential E.P.' The message was brief, asking myself and two other members of the teaching staff to attend a meeting in the boss's office today at 1.15p.m. The email gave nothing else away. I noted however that the two other colleagues on the email were also timetabled to be supported by Ewan each afternoon. Mmmm, his surname was Paterson.

EP? Confidential? My mind was racing.

At lunch time I decided to wander to the local shopping centre to buy a meal deal. It was difficult not to think about what the upcoming meeting would entail. Was it about Ewan? Or had I put two and two together and made five? It wouldn't have been the first time.

The mid-August sun was warm and as I wandered back in direction of the school with my food, I was glad of the shade from the trees in the park. I sat down on a bench and enjoyed my sandwich, crisps and Irn bru and scrolled through the dating apps on my phone. A few messages. Normally I'd answer them but not today. Today, all I could think about was Ewan.

Back at school, I duly made my way to the headteachers office at the given time. My two other colleagues were already seated. We exchanged a few words and then my boss began.

"Thanks for coming along", he said. "I know you've all got heaps to do".

("State the fuckin' obvious" zipped through my mind).

"It's nothing to worry about", he continued. "I just need to share a few things, confidential things, about Ewan, our new T.A, who you'll be working with this year".

My heart half lurched. "Where the fuck is this going?", I thought to myself.

After checking again that we understood what we were about to hear was confidential, the boss went on to tell us a fair amount about Ewan's past. The gist being-

He'd only recently left the care system, his mum had walked out on him when he was four and his dad, having decided that he preferred alcohol to his son, had given up custody of Ewan shortly after his eighth birthday. Ewan had been in various care homes and foster homes for the last ten years, continually being shunted from pillar to post. He was now in a small flat of his own and working in our school thanks to two programmes, assisted housing and assisted employment designed to help youngsters like him make the best transition possible from the care system into wider society.

"I know he's very young", the boss continued, "And obviously what he's been through will have left it's mark, but he interviewed well, has boundless enthusiasm and deserves a chance here".

I've never been a great fan of my boss, but hats off to him in this case. At that precise moment, I distinctly remember thinking- "Jesus Christ, maybe you do have a heart after all".

"I take it Ewan knows you're telling us this", I interjected.

"Oh absolutely", my boss replied. "It was actually his idea", he continued. "Given his age and everything that's happened, he's...., not worried as such, but is concerned that he might muck up from time to time or need a fair bit of guidance on dealing with certain situations. I hope that makes sense?"

The three of us nodded our assent.

"Ewan doesn't plan on keeping his past a secret from the rest of the staff or anything like that", the boss added. "He just wants to tell them when he feels good and ready. For the three of you it's obviously different as you're going to be working closely with Ewan from the get-go".

It was hard to take in what we'd just been told and I immediately felt guilty for perving over a young lad who'd clearly had a shitty start in life.

The guilt lingered..... but not for too long.

Peebles

The rest of the afternoon was supposed to be Fire safety training but was postponed to the following day due a lack of available staff. Instead, we were 'gifted' more preparation time in our classrooms.

I was sat at my desk making some last minute tweaks to the seating plan I'd drawn up for my class when there was a tap on my door. It was Ewan.

"I've been asked to go round the upper-school classes to see if anyone needs any help getting ready for Wednesday", he said. His eyes danced as he spoke. His enthusiasm was palpable.

I didn't need any help, but I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity of having Ewan spend the afternoon with me in my classroom. I had to think quickly.

I smiled at him broadly. "I've got a few things you could help me out with", I lied (mmmmm well, not really a lie if you understand what was actually going on in my mind). "The backing-paper on the display board by the sink was left up by the teacher who was in this room last session. It's a bit faded and I'm not keen on the colour. I've got new roll of green paper in the cupboard. Do you think you could swap it over for me?", I added.

"Aye, nae bother", Ewan nodded.

"Aw cheers", I said. "You're a star".

Ewan blushed ever so slightly.

I fished the backing-paper out of the cupboard and handed him my scissors, metre stick and staple-gun.

He got to work immediately, first measuring the dimensions of the display board and then cutting the paper to size.

I couldn't help but notice the way the sleeves of his T-shirt moved over his upper arms as he stretched over the desks. I felt my cock stir.

I was three times his age, but fuck I wanted him.

Visions of Ewan carrying out this task stark-bollock-naked were drifting into my mind when I was suddenly snapped back into reality.

"Shit!", he half-shouted. "I've cut masel"

Instinctively I got up and hurried over to help. He'd cut the back of his left hand and there was a fair amount of blood oozing out of the wound.

"Let's get you cleaned up", I said calmly. "What happened?".

"The scissors slipped", Ewan replied.

As I led him over towards the classroom sink, I became aware Ewan was a bit unsteady on his feet so I put my arm round his waist to help him.

I turned on the tap, held his hand and let the cold water run over the wound. Thankfully, it was one of those cuts that looked a lot worse than it actually was.

Ewan was now shaking however.

"It's going to be ok", I reassured him. "It looks superficial".

I knelt down to try to fish out some paper towels from the box below the sink. My plan was to use them as a compress to stem the flow of blood.

"I'm OK with other people's blood", he began. "Just not my own......"

And, with that, he promptly fainted, falling forwards on top of me, his crotch ending up plum over my face.

Now, the right thing to do, the obvious thing to do, would have been to wriggle free from the situation immediately, put Ewan in the recovery position and go and get help.

What did I actually do?

I inhaled his crotch.

I felt up his impressive bulge and pert arse.

Then I inhaled some more.

As Ewan started to come to, I put both hand back on his bum and pawed at his grey joggers in a half hearted attempt to, ahem, get him off me. I also threw in a few sounds of discomfort, just for good measure.

"What happened?", Ewan mumbled, moving his bulge to the left of my nose.

"You fainted on me buddy", I replied with a fake groan.

Rolling off me, his previously ashen face was now fast resembling a beetroot as what had just transpired began to sink in.

"Jesus fuck, I'm so, so sorry", he said, clearly mortified beyond words. "Are you OK, did I hurt you?"

I reassured him that I was fine and regained control of the situation by insisting that I see to his cut.

He had his blood on his T-shirt.

I had his blood on my T-shirt.

Ewan kept apologising as I cleaned up his cut for a second time, covered it over with some paper towels and pressed down firmly on the offending wound.

I could feel his warm breath on my neck and sensed the beginnings of a quiet sob

Absolutely perfect developing story. Just ignore the bitchy spiteful comments. obviously some are very bitter judgemental people

Poor lad. I’m sure you’ll be looking after him in every sense of the word.

Satisfied that the blood flow had stopped and the cut was nothing too serious, I turned to face Ewan.

We were both still 'in each other's space', unavoidable really, given what had just happened. He was visibly upset.

Teacher-mode kicked in.

"Hey, c'mon", I said. "You're ok, we'll get a plaster on this and you'll be as good as new".

"It's not that", he replied, avoiding my gaze. "I feel like such an idiot. First day in the job and, as usual, I fuck up big-time. I'm just useless".

"Don't be daft", I reassured him. "You had an accident, happens to us all. Christ, if I had a pound for every time I genuinely mucked up in this place I'd be a bloody millionaire", I laughed. "Certainly wouldn't need to be teaching anymore!"

The tension and worry in Ewan's face evaporated, he smiled and his shoulders dropped.

I retrieved a sticking plaster from the classroom first-aid kit and placed it over his cut, rubbing it flat gently for quite a little longer than was necessary.

Ewan made no effort to remove his hand from mine.

Reluctantly I removed my hand from Ewan's. To linger any longer would have meant me laying "all my cards on the table" and I wasn't yet ready to take that chance.

Let's face it, if I acted on impulse and had read it all wrong, I could be kissing goodbye to a 33 year, unblemished teaching career.

So instead I said, with a wink and a chuckle-

"You up to hanging that backing paper or are you not to be trusted with the staple gun? I don't want you nailing your hand to the display board".

Thankfully, Ewan saw the joke.

"With my track record, I wouldn't bet against it", he laughed.

He lifted the backing paper and climbed onto the desk below the display board and began to attach the paper. This meant he needed to stretch upwards initially, sometimes one arm, sometimes two.

As he did so, his T-shirt rode up over his back revealing not only the waistband of his white Aussiebums, but also a Harley Davidson type emblem tattoo on his lower back.

A 'tramp stamp'?

Fuck, he was stunning.

And fuck, I was tenting.

I mean Christ sakes, there's only so much a pervy dad can take!

Guys, thank you for the encouragement on here as well as the dm's. I'm genuinely grateful.

I appreciate that so far, my recount is a bit dull. I guess that's the reality of telling a true story, with context, as opposed to jumping in to made up nonsense.

Telling the truth takes time, like most, I don't always have a lot of that.

I can continue with the facts of Ewan and myself or stop - if it's not titillating enough. No fabrications though, I don't have it in me.
