Bitter truth,I met heaven in hell, just a year back I was called in the Disciplinary committee of the University, surprisingly found ma dad already there in the office,he had been told by the administrators of me not being straight,I had never felt so small. My dad didnt shout he just looked at me with dissapointment and told them "I will handle him" Next day he told me am taking you to your grandmas place am very angry at you,not knowing he was driving me to a Behavioural change centre/rehab,we drove 560-600km to that place, when we arrived he said wait for me here am to pick you up soon, there's a gentle man who walked in and said sign on these papers your dad has brought you here for a check up before he takes you to your grandma, I signed, after
He had to take blood samples, but to tell the truth, I came back to my senses on a bed, dressed in a funny uniform, with a suitcase beside me, drinks on table and feeling very dizzy. I heard a voice say, "You are in rehab. These are the rules: no phone, attend sessions, exercise to stay physically fit, etc." When he left, my dorm mates came in and started telling stories about how fake the place was, i felt like my life has ended, lonely, bored, no freedom just like a hen in a cage just waiting for the day to pass.
But in this place meant to change me, three months passed. Then a new patient was brought in. It was 3 in the morning and it was still dark, as if they were transporting a thief.Doors opened, and he was given a bed in the main dormitory. In my case, I had been given a self-contained room with another guy because we were the old ones. I had even been given the title of chairman.
In the morning, mates came running to my room shouting, "Chairman, a girl has been brought to our room! What do they want us to do? Why didn't they take her to the girls' side?"
I jumped out of bed as chairman, in my boxer pants with a naked chest. Time had passed and I had put on some mass, since gym is the order of the day there. At first sight, I saw a girl's figure lying on the bed with natural braids and ladies' clothes.
I woke her up. "Greetings, I'm Hanil."
She replied with the sweetest voice, "I'm Ella."
Every guy was like, "Wooow." Gifts started coming in. Everyone wanted her to be his girlfriend.
A counsellor came in and said, "Don't overshare your things before discovering the truth," and he walked out.
I asked Ella, "Why are you here?"
She answered, "For behavioural change, since I'm a trans."
Most guys had never heard of that. They all shouted, "What does that mean?" I was like, "Guys, calm down."
Ella had eye pencils, lip balm, everything a lady needs. So a new soul had joined the fraternity.
Time checked in and we had to go for the morning session, where new members introduce themselves and why they are here. I told Ella, "Feel at home, come sit next to me."
The head lady of the rehab came in and the session began with church songs, but no guy could take his eyes off Ella. |
