How does mobile Web chat work?

Hi, I need some help understanding how the mobile Web chat works. I can see web cams and I can see chat. It appears to be general chat and not chat directly with the person you've viewing?

Is there a way to direct chat?

yes just private message them next to there name .pm /poke/block are your three options

Thanks. I looked at the desktop version and it makes a bit more sense .. mobile is very limited by the look of it.
