Changing location and country

Leeds

Currently visiting Ireland from Leeds and trying to change my location but changing to the postcode to where I'm staying at and it doesn't recognise the postcode so can't update it.

Anyone know how to change this please?

It is accurate but it is slow at updating itself while you're on the move.

The "see who's near" search function works by picking up location signals from site users.

It doesn't matter where you are.

If you do not see any results near you, it means that no site users are currently near you, or it means that the site users near you have not turned on their "location" on their phone settings.

I would recommend you write something like "In Berlin from xxdatexx to xxdatexx" in your "status update" and keep your location turned on on your phone.

site does not recognise ireland as an area of this site same as all the other countries just change your top heading stating where you are at,,,and for how long,, or use who is near,,,

I would suggest going to the Search and advanced search screen. At the top of the screen it tells you which country you are using, touch UK and get a drop-down list from where you can chose Ireland. When you are using the Irish site, my guess is that it will allow you to enter an Irish format post code. Just remember to change the country back when you go home.

That should be the “Browse and Search Profiles” Button on the home page. You can change your country to one of the countries where fab operate.
