No distance field?

I've come across profiles where the 'Distance' field is missing. It does not particularly worry me, nor would i want to hide my own distance of 'home' or 'mobile', but just curious how this can happen. Any insights or tricks?

Ah, ok. Well if that's not mandatory, and if they don't use mobile, then they'd appear distance-free. Oh well🤷🏽‍♂️ . Thanks!
