I tried to become a site supporter using a prepaid credit card and the acquirer couldn't take payment. This worked fine for me on Fabswingers.

Are there different payment processors in use or could it be another reason?

I couldn't get fabswingers to take card payment last week, so just used Paypal instead. Will Paypal here too when the time comes. Paypal easy to set up and use and I've never had any problems...(yet!)

Pay pal is better for paying and comes up as epoch on your statements
