Worse when you see a message that says meet now can accommodate and says they are online , then you go to their profile last on 1 minute ago ffs .

There's a lag in the status, or sometimes people don't log out of their phone properly.

Pay, don't pay - no one expects you to do anything.

The issue is that there is no way to tell if somebody is actually online or not. The site does not poll users and only knows folk are online when they interact on here.

Few folk bother to log out

Whether someone logs out or not, after a period of inactivity of about 10 minutes a profile will show as offline

Well if you cannot pay 5 quid for the benefits this site gives you, do not attempt to register on any other site.

This is the cheapest site, and yet it's also the only one without ads, plus it has a forum, and is well laid out, so...

But yes the lag is annoying, just like the slow-to-update geo location.

Hardly a deal breaker.

This site is great . Really happy about the simplicity . It is not always fab site problem . Sometimes I leave the site without closing the app but then it takes time till it shows i am offline .

I think what is potentially more annoying is the fact that there is no way to hide the fact that you ARE on line.

Surely privacy laws should enable you to do this.

There are times when I just want to chat with one or two friends, or read the forum, but as soon as I log in an unsolicited message will appear. Then they get the hump when you don't reply.
