I gave lost a couple of wonderful feedbacks that put in essence what I am all about due to the members leaving the site.

Would it be possible to have them still show but be greyed out like the forum posts when the member leaves the site?

Thank you

Why? It may not work for you and would for me.

Just saying it's not a good idea without explaining is a waste of time.

The member can still hide verifications I anycase

I've lost over 100 verifications due to people leaving the site. Just resigned to it now

Verifications mean bugger all. We've had verified users mess us about, and he had the "don't mess him around" crap on many of his.

I do not believe that a profile has to be 'meet' verified to use the forums xx

It is one of the terms of using the site that gives reassurance to users:

This will permanently remove all your profile details, messages, photos, friends, verifications, etc. These can not be restored.

Yes, if you leave the site it's for a reason and you wouldn't want anything left public for anyone else to see

looking at it from an IT perspective:

as the verification is written by the user, the text source is from their profile

what is seen as your verifications is actually a 'mirror' of what they have written within their profile

so once their profile is deleted that text is deleted with it

yes, because you are writing text that is posted directly into the forum

it is not adding text within your own profile, which is what you do when you write a verification
