FabGuys.com forum: Unverified verification

Really need help on this one. I came home form work to find someone had verified me and then either vlocked me or deleted their account. So it now shows an extra verification but I have no idea who it was as I was not asked to verify as genuine... contacted site to ask about having it removed but heard nothing back. Is that sort of carry on normal?

Yep - admin can't remove a verification, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Another verification without getting your kit off, you must be really good lol x

Think I might just have to suck this one up. Caused a bit of friction as I told someone I couldn't meet then came home to a verification I never earned and a grumpy guy accusing me of lying to him... ahh well small problems really

Bad luck! The guy leaving the verif might know the guy who accused you of lying. Imagine that for a twisted plot...

No real reason to spend time wondering about others' weird behaviour: just block and move on (and don't let THEIR behaviour modify yours), I would suggest.

BTW, "grumpy guy" has no justification for thinking you were lying (or anyone else in a similar situation), since the date of verification may differ from date of meet!

I thought you had to select which verifications you choose to show on your profile. It can't appear on your profile without you selecting it to be shown.

I know the op appears to have left the site but just in case anyone else has this issue I agree with you that no one will know who has sent you a verification unless you choose to “publish” it.

While that is true, it will still appear on the verification summary as being verified 4hrs (or however long ago) if he had that enabled
