My profile mysteriously altered to being a "couple" yesterday without my knowledge - how and why was this able to happen ?

I would prefer things to be left alone so please revert these changes, Thankyou

Your profile headline and text, both written WITH your knowledge, are responsible for the change. It's not an Admin. error, so it won't revert back.

… lol, now removed the 'offending' headline and text but it shouldn't make a difference?

My original profile was a "single man" always has been, it was changed to a "couple" yesterday without my knowledge.

I just want it changed back to how it was originally.

It doesn't matter if there's one, two or ten of us, it's irrelevant to my profile.

They fixed it now - it was a site error.

It DOES matter to the site and it's against rules to use a single man profile for a couple, for multiple reasons. The undernoted may be helpful 🤞

To say the least, I'm surprised': your profile text again mentions that "another person has access to this account now so you might be talking to either initially", i.e. a COUPLE 🤔
