Should be easy enough to have site act as escrow for meets.

Flag set by both parties if meeting. Site grants "reliability" point for successful meets.

To other users you just get a feeling for how recently they have met others and for how likely they re to turn up.

Would be a simple enough mechanism to set up.

Sometimes circumstances can change and prevent a meet happening. Putting someone on a block list seems a bit OTT.

Would you block the username? Or the email address? If you block the username they can just set up a new profile and continue as before.

As with any similar site on the internet, it’s set up for people to get in touch with other like-minded people. But there lies the problem; people. You can regulate the site to the level of Fort Knox. But then it won’t be easy to use. And the big problem still exists; the people using the site. Both the nasty people who are maliciously setting up meets they have no intention of attending, and the gullible, trusting people who believe people when they set up meets.

Hi all. Just for your info, I did have a 'Hall of Shame' list of timewasters at the bottom of my profile. Pretty sure I had 5 usernames on it. But after a few months, admin removed those from my profile along with all the other info I had put on. Admin didn't contact me directly at any point

Everyone has a different standard as to what is considered a timewaster. I had arranged well in advance that I was free to meet a guy one evening last summer. A family event was rearranged and I had to cancel with TEN DAYS NOTICE. The way he reacted, it was though I had given him 10 minutes notice! I don't think I can be classed as a timewaster, but he would have added me to a list.
