I pay every month but you can access it for free and that attracts fakes and keyboard wankers, I'd rather it was a yearly payment which would keep the dreamers off, lets face it ... a year of genuine sex would be worth paying for.

FabGuys will say you can always set your filters to exclude "non subscribers", "not verified", etc. . . . thing is we all have genuine contacts who are "freeloaders" and they are genuine? So if we set hard filters we wouldn't have ever met?

We have been messed about by paying members twice.

So no we do not need any extortionate fees to dissuade the time wasters.

What is your experience of other sex sites?

Paying a membership on gxindr has not given us much more sex...

There are profiles that haven't l9gged into the site for years. There are the d*unk straight guys who make a new profile every time they get horny. Why not implement a simple reminder email, after 30/60/90 days, to login or have profile deleted. Many other sites do this, so it can't be difficult.

Typically what other web-sites do is "ping" the registered email address by sending an email? If that is not responded to within a set period than they place the profile in stasis for a while and then after another grace delete it.

Web-sites don't enjoy keeping old profiles in any case as all they do is use up server allowance and cost them . . so you would think that FG would do something similar.

I too have seen old profiles I used to contact years ago and the contact is gone, moved on.

I always seem to have more luck with the free accounts. Almost like those paying think they are entitled to something. Definitely not everyone. With so many social media options out there I don't see how putting up a pay barrier could ever work.

In the past, I've been messed about by paid accounts and had great meets with blank profiles.

Theres tons of profiles here that haven't logged on for over a year. Some guys I know have died and their profiles still show on searches

If you broughtnin a mandatory charge, would you be sure those running the site would use the money to fix the problem.

Can you fix the problem? Human beings do dumb things all the time, its in our nature. When you report a profile one of the options is timewasting. Best report and remove, yes they will come back but what can you do?

I pay for Grindx and meet a few guys but mostly pay as I travel lots and can arrange in advance but chances of finding a boyfriend they are proper relationship. There are zero.

I joined here as it seemed more grown-up and sensible although in reality its not, you get far more information here you do on G so you probably can make more informed choices as genuinely guys are more honest here but as a previous forum post alludes to gay guys on pub guys it is considerably more difficult to do that though
