Green Arrow on Profile

I think having the green arrow available directly from the profile would be an improvement.

The profile is to promote yourself and give an impression of what you are like to other guys, so I think seeing how they conduct themselves on the forums would be a welcome addition to this, alongside the optional photos and would give more insight than the promotional blurb on the profile itself - which may or may not be accurate, and a lot of guys struggle with anyway.

I agree. Currently the only way to find what a user has recently posted in the forums is by, err, finding one of their posts and using that green arrow.

Obviously poster is a new member else he would know any ideas by members are and always have been totally ignored by the site owners. Been trying to get a Midlands area for years no luck and several other areas have drawn a blank too. If it costs the site time money they aren't interested

"Obviously poster is a new member"… should've checked his profile: "Been here before, I know the score."

BTW, if every suggestion was adopted, the site would be an unmanageable mess 🤔

What a numpty….

I’ve never even noticed that green arrow, let alone be aware it did something!

I mean, who wants to know that (currently) you've been the last contributor to 4 out of the last 35 threads to which you have posted? 🤣

Agreed, this would be a benefit.

I still think this would be a good idea.

People write a profile to sell themselves, but are much more honest in their postings on the forum

What would you do if they didn’t use the forums. How would you form an opinion of them.

😶 Do you genuinely believe that?!

Yes.

Even if for no other reason that it's quite rare that a person's self image matches how others perceive them
