My Fabguys on Samsung Smartphone only tells me someone us within 10 or 5 miles etc. It does not get any more detailed than that. Yet some contacts are telling me that their phones are saying I am within 2 minutes walking distance when mine is only saying within miles.

Have I got something set wrong

Some of both the Fab sites’ features update at least several minutes in arrears, so if someone is travelling the respective distances may not be correct by the time they are viewed.

My man and I were lying next to each other and it told me he was within a mile and him i was in touching distance. So he touched me by fucking me! Mine then updated to say within touching distance too.

Are you looking at the 'who is nearby' list?

"Have I got something set wrong"

Have you checked your location settings in Android? Sounds like a few changes therein might fix this.

Newark .

Mine takes ages to update my location - I can be half way through a sauna visit before it knows I’m there hahahah!

I find it so inaccurate at distance. Given I live at the very edge of a large city I find the distances to be hopeless. Only excuse I can think of is that distance is "as the crow flies".

It IS 'as the crow flies!' I find this benefit/tool very useful, despite its limitations (most of which are not due to this site?) 🤔

Definitely "as the crow flies" I get distances from Gourock of 4 miles to Dunoon and 6 miles to Helensburgh across the Clyde Estuary 😄😁😄😁😄😁😄

If there are 5 crows against a _oodpecker there would be a murder in there somewhere

A murder BY crows? 🤔… I'd definitely prefer to see a murder OF crows. I saw plenty last night, roosting before sunset (I even took a photo 📷 ).
