Why did my message disappear lol ??

Anyways this is what happened…

I chatted with a guy on here for a meet. We agreed the time and I was driving to his..

While at red light - just refreshed the screen to see if he sent any further messages - to my surprise - all the chat is gone and the messages disappeared.

His profile is gone and also - usually you can see the sent messages - even that disappeared..

I looked to see if I accidentally blocked him - which I did not…

Has this happened to anyone else..

May be he blocked me for whatever reason - but surely, the messages I sent could still be sent , isn’t it ??

He deleted his profile before you got there, I guess he didn’t give address?

Oh - if someone delete the profile rather than blocking us - then we can’t see any communication, is it ??

He gave me the address - but when I texted him saying I am driving - I guess a few mins lates, he possibly just deleted the profile…May be he chickened out..

You had an address? How near were you when you realised he’d deleted his profile?

Unless it was still a way to go, I’d have turned up and knocked at the door.

Why do guys do that? It's not nice to treated like this. OP, I know exactly how you feel. I have that happened a few times to me. And the irony is that site moderators will no allow you to name the timewasters and pic collectors on your profile.

I have come across a few timewasters and when I mentioned their names, my profile was deleted by the site moderators! It's almost as if timewasters have an upper hand over the genuine guys.

OP I'm afraid it was yet another guy who got scared when it came to the point. You could've tried knocking at the address he gave you and you may have had amazing sex - or it might have been a random stranger's place and been very awkward.

As a genuine guy you have to ask yourself, would YOU like it if someone named and shamed you for whatever reason for all to see on this site? I imagine not.

I understand- the guy may be nervous to meet - but what would have been nice is - to say - “ I really wanted to meet, but nerves has taken over me “ so we may have to cancel the meet..

It’s not fair on me to drive all the way and then no response. Luckily this time I was only half way through..

It was sensible ((IMO) not to knock at the address, wrong to assume, though likely, that he deleted his profile (it may have been done FOR/TO him/it 🤔) and, fair or not, it SEEMS all to common on here (if the large amount of relevant forum posts are to be believed)

Glad I saw this post as I had a similar thing this morning regarding messages, I’d been chatting to a guy for a couple of days and went to message this morning and they were all gone. So I guess he deleted his profile.

I arranged a meet with a guy. He gave me his address and I travelled there. He opened the door wearing only a towel and said can we make it another time. I was furious, but he did later apologise and said that nerves got the better of him.
