I’ve noticed a sever degradation in list refresh rates.

The who’s near, who’s viewed and update in particular seem to be updating every 10-15 minutes which I think is far to long

And there’s no consistency between the markers - the green dot disappears in list but on the users page it still says online now…

I don’t think it’s anything will improve any time soon. To keep statuses up to date they probably have an automated process that runs to capture the latest status. The problem with that depends on their hosting. The more frequency they run those processes the more processing power/time it takes which would then increase costs which we all know they won’t do anything that costs them money. Newer technologies can improve this but it would properly mean a complete site overhaul

well to be honest i cant see there is a point in being a member what with this time lag and the increasing number of time wasters now on here, i may be letting my membership run out this time

CroccyBtm is right about the tech.

If we were paying £50 per month maybe we could expect a more real-time service.

But most of us aren't, and the ones that do pay, pay a significant amount less.

Is fab value for money as it is? Of course it is! For the £5 for silver membership by text (45 days) which is the cheapest option, do you really expect that functionality?

Reality check please - you can't even get a decent pint in any establishment for that price!
