What would this add in actuality? Could it really be in any way effective?

There is a London - North - Wales - and Scotland board. It’s completely unclear what the reasoning behind creating those was. So I understand it seems odd and a bit unfair not to have a South board and a Midlands board.

But if you look at the 4 geographical themed boards they are still huge areas to be useful for members to be in proximity - and most of their threads are random, non-area-specific issues like much of the Forum generally. And lots of people add comments who are outside the geographical area.

Would Worcester be in the South…? Would Northampton..? (FabGuys bizarrely counts Northampton in the West not East Midlands so don’t trust too much in its geographical assistance.)

Let’s say a South board is created. Users in Lostwithiel and Gloucester and Banbury and Ryde and Stevenage and Littlehampton and Ramsgate and Ipswich… are all still hundreds of miles away from each other. What commonality is there? What’s the functionality?

The only effective thing would be to develop lots of much smaller areas - such as a Cornwall or Isle of Wight or Berkshire board etc. But they’re never going to do that.

What bit of the fact that FabGuys has never for several years now instituted any of the requests that came up in their OWN user surveys, let alone ideas generated here in the Forum, and has been acknowledged by several users above, is difficult to understand?!

They’re not going to do this - no matter how sensible it may seem, no matter how much you want it, no matter how technologically straightforward it might be.
