REALLY deleting messages

Is it possible to REALLY delete messages? If I send a message to someone after not contacting them for a while, the old messages come back.

How long before old messages are REALLY deleted?

If I leave the site, are ALL my messages deleted?

And I mean REALLY deleted, not archived or just marked for deletion.

It all depends on GDPR and how closely they follow it. They have the right to keep your data for X days for legal reasons but if you request it they have to delete it within X days. My gdpr knowledge is a bit rusty sorry. It will be in their T&Cs somewhere

Nothing with a digital footprint is ever fully delete-able. You never know what backups are taken etc. The GDPR law is one thing, reality is another...
