FabGuys.com forum: Whos near? location problem

Site not picking up my location when I check who's near. Apparently I'm still where I was 2 weeks ago. Anyone else having a problem? Location is enabled in browser and works fine in other sites.

Try closing tge location setting on your phone and restart. If thar fails make sure you phone is showing you in the right location.

I moved about 120 miles but I do it often without previous problems. Also location works on other apps

I find the who's near not very accurate. I was messaging a guy yesterday who was 2 miles away but he was actually in the car next to me.

I have found that there is often a 10 minute delay in updating the location

I’ve noticed a couple of accounts lately where the Mobile distance showing is something like 6400+ miles. At a guess I assume they are using a VPN connection using an overseas server to try and hide their connection.

It's completely hit n miss.

I was in Australia visiting family and it took 2.5 weeks for Fab to update my location on 'who's nearby' despite my using Maps/GPS almost daily while I was out there

It could be that they are abroad on holiday

Ive the same problem .ive changed my location to where i live and saved. It still thinks im 20 miles away .ive reset mob to restart wifi .all others apps work fine .not this one

It does not seem to pick up location has changed
