If you block someone does the other person get told you have blocked them?

If they try to view your profile they will see a message stating that they have been blocked.

Or if they try message you they get a clear warning message that you have blocked them - unambiguous.

And same if you try to message them from a previous chat.

Moderators can force a block from you if you Report them
