Sent messages?

I've just replied to a private message, but it doesn't show up in my "Sent Messages", thinking I must have done something wrong, I resent it, but it still nothing new in my "Sent Messages"?? I am at a loss to understand what the issue is. Can anyone kindly advise?

Sometimes it can take a few minutes to show in your sent messages. Unless they have blocked you or left the site but then you would get a error message

Thanks Vers, there's nothing showing up at all, no error message, only previous sent messages.
