Limit on number of photos posted in a day/hour?

I recently noticed ONE poster taking up 50% of the first page in "New Photos, Videos!"

How about a limit on the amount of uploads over a given time period (e.g. 3 per hour)?

There's already a daily limit.

I doubt that they were taking up half the page for more than a couple of minutes. This seems like a trivial issue.

Everything on here is relatively trivial

Still, despite that, I thought it was worth posting my observation/opinion and give some site feedback 🙂

There already is a daily limit. Mine for example is a daily limit of 16. I am a silver site supporter, I don't know if a gold site supporter will get more of a daily allowance xx

Whatever the daily limit, I happen to feel it would be better to have them spaced out, to avoid flooding the New Photos, Videos feed with one person's images (regardless of how good/bad they are). It may even be more respectful towards other users?

Sure just needs a lot of modernisation (IMHO). Some kind of method or function which consolidates the updates from every picture someone has added to “user has added some pictures” if x pictures uploaded in y time

"Personally does not bother me I just scroll by "

Personally, I too "scroll by" and that's the point: 'endless' scrolling past pics of astonishingly vain and selfish people (in addition to personal dislikes - we all have them) is tedious. I'm suggesting that the site should tailor features to satisfy/attract/keep as many people as possible. I guess, for the ongoing success of the site, we should hope that not too many people get too fed up scrolling and simply decide to look elsewhere

Doesn't bother me. I suspect picture Mods just work through pics submitted and if one guys submits several at the same time they eill be done one after the other to clear the 'pile'. You soon learn which guys you ignore

No one has stopped to consider that the moderators are volunteers and a change like this could cause problems for them checking the images. Not all Moderators are online all of the time.

Zero problems for moderators: it would be simple software limiting the uploads, not moderators physically checking. Anything adding to their workload would, indeed, be a bad idea.

Anything relieving monotony, increasing variety and quality (a whole stream uploaded in a short space of time are often of repetitive/similar images) would make the Mods' jobs easier and less prone to mistakes?
