No, you can't delete them.

But if you block them your veri disappears.

Don’t know, but if you can I would look under Account, verifications, and verifications you’ve given. You definitely won’t be able to remove them if the other person has left the site and closed their account though.

Yes, by blocking the profile. The tally will still be included in the summary though

What I want to be able to do isn't possible through the UI, it'll have to be backend updates or possibly something only a site administrator can do.

No there isn't a way to remove a veri, blocking the person will make sure the veri isn't shown though.
