Mods accessing my account

Hi Guys, I have an issue that I would like your input on. Im annoyed but not sure if I have any right to be.

I had a video uploaded to my account which was approved around December just gone. It was marked as friends only.

Today I noted that it has suddenly been rejected months later. The reason given is that moderator doesnt think its me in the video.

You cant see my face, just my arse riding a dildo and my giblets bouncing around.

The rules state that you must be in the pic/vid, it cant be of only your car or dildo collection etc. I believe the interpretation of that rule means a human, you, must be in it. Your word is taken if a human is in the pic/vid unless it is obvious its not you. If it didn't mean that then most pics on here would not have been approved as so many are just faceless dick and arse pics/vids.

Why was the mod in my account in the first place. Just because you can doesnt mean that you should. I believe this may have broken gdpr laws and maybe other laws. Access to accounts should only happen if its been reported or requested by police etc. I cant see anywhere that you can just go poking around someone's account just because you can. Im not aware that I have been reported if I have then I have no problem.

It was friends only so it wouldnt be posted on update or pic/vid pages for them to see.

Are moderators routinely accessing our accounts and and looking around for no valid reason. Is this normal? Anyone else aware that their account has been accessed?

Surely we can expect some privacy or am I wrong on that?

I'd say check the T&Cs of this application.

They're covering themselves for some reason. Unsure if the new legislation.

Mods control their platform. You're just a user.

Perhaps there was an issue with one of the mods and they were removed for some reason that we know nothing about. In such a case they may be re_iewing pictures that were approved by that mod to make sure that they comply with what the rules (which are very vague) and open to wide interpretation.

I agree that with all the faceless dic and arse pic’s there is no way they can prove that it is the person who has been verified (if their account has been verified [pace pic with notice of account name]).

"I believe this may have broken gdpr laws and maybe other laws."

Having had to deal with the registration under the original Data Protection Act for the company I was working for at the time, and initially for the company I work for now before the buyout. It can be a bit tricky. First you are talking about “personal data” things that can identify you personally like name, address, even an email address BUT only if it contains your real name so something like general zod @ whatever domain would not be personal data as it cannot identify you personally.

Face Pics could be used to identify you, but it is very unlikely that a dic or arse pic would (unless there was some unique feature and then only by people who had an intimate knowledge of your body).

If they do hold ANY personal data then they have to be registered with the ICO, and they need to have a named data controller who is responsible for dealing with data protection issues, and any “Subject Access Requests”. I believe that this contact information needs to be publicly available as a postal address (something that seems to be missing).

If that was the case and the interpretation is that you have to be able to prove its you in the pic, then there should be a huge deletion of pics and videos very soon on this site. Lol......and the other one!

To me it feels like we had a bored mod that went looking around peoples accounts and came across mine. As there is no transparency with anything we will never know. Would be interesting to see if a mod responds to this thread.

Keep looking out for my profile if it suddenly disappears Ive been silenced lol

I had a quick look at some external forums regarding this type of issue. Apparently your messages would also come under gdpr so someone accessing your account could fall foul of gdpr rules if there was no valid reason to be in the account in the first place. Volunteer mods made it even more tricky as opposed to paid employees. It got all complicated with people responding and other laws and sections being brought into play. If i was the owners i would be instructing mods to keep out unless there is a report logged against an account just to be safe. Im so glad im retired everything is so complicated and my bum hole has a lot to answer for if this causes trouble lol lol

Well I think that the 3 main laws that come into play are

GDPR

Computer Misuse Act

Online Safety Act

Certainly GDPR does require some level of Transparency in how your data is processed and Remedy for correction, and there does need to be a postal address available where you can write to for things like SAR (subject access requests).

Sounds more like a simple breach of rules? You didn't say that it WAS you in the removed video: if if wasn’t, it SHOULD be removed. If an image is reported as having broken rules, it's (obviously) checked out! If you're confident that no rules have been broken, just contact Admin and ask for the situation to be re_iewed, instead of bleating about it here and inviting all sorts of nonsense about GDPR regulations?

years ago on fabswingers i was chatting to a women, we got on quite well, hadn’t arranged to meet at that time but during one of our chats she confessed that she had a friend who was a moderator on the site and she asked her to send one of my private pics (face pic), i told her she only had to ask, but said her friend had abused her position by accessing my account and sending one of my pics to her.

Never take your privacy for granted, if they want to access your account they will, you have no say on the matter 🤷‍♂️

But bleating’s much more fun!

I’ve reported Woody’s egg box picture a hundred times but moderators know full well that those are his scrawny bollocks.

If a pic is approved in error, it may then be reported to Admin for a re_iew. It will be Admin that change the status of the pic from being approved to rejected. You can contact Admin

https://www.fabguys.com/contact-us

Moderators approve the pics in the first instance, Admin do any re_iew.
