It would be good if an indicator could be introduced to tell if a wink had been seen.

e.g. Go from yellow to white in the same way that sent mail does.

The number of winks does appear as a prominent item on a mobile.

Really though far better to actually articulate something in a pm to the user you are interested in. Way too many people with no photos, videos or verifications and miniscule profiles send winks and probably wonder why nobody responds.
