It may well have been set, you just may not have been aware of it. I think that all mobile networks implemented it at some point prior to the online safety act coming into force - this was the cause of a lot of threads about why people could not access the site while on mobile data but could when on WiFi.

There may have been a similar move to prevent payments to “Adult” sites via phone bills for a similar reason if the phone still has the default under 18 restrictions in place.

Certainly I don’t remember the network restrictions implemented being advertised by the mobile networks, so it is possible that payments have also been blocked and not advertised - if that turns out to be the case it is crap communications from the mobile operators.

It is a Law passed by Cameron's Conservative government waaay back.

How long do we have to wait now?

Just 226 days?
