Why am I suddenly having to type in a security code every time I log in?

It’s tedious (especially on the small phone screen) and without any obvious purpose or benefit.

Username and password should be sufficient.

You know if I’m a member or not.

Please revert to the original login without the code

I have to input the code every bloody single time. No idea why. Never used to. Maybe it’s cos I’m a site supporter.

Don't worry, this is normal and we do this to protect everyone on the site. After a few days of using the site normally you'll probably not see this message again. We hope that having a site free of spam means this small inconvenience is worth it

Have you changed your phone recently?

Might be settings on your mobile.

I get this on every login despite accessing multiple times daily for weeks since this started.

I have seen comments on another post which suggested this might be down to having a new phone and to check settings. Does anybody know what settings on the phone might need to be changed? Would be great to be able to fix this!

That tends to trigger it as it can’t verify your location
