Deleting messages sent

Can you delete messages sent to someone who is no longer responding to you? I know you can block them but what if you just want to delete the messages

I think when you block everything gets deleted.

Happened to me just this morning. Someone bugging me for a meet, and so I didn't open the message and it was highlighted as unread in my inbox.

A few hours elapsed and everything disappeared.

Another subscription provider allows you the ability to unsend messages if you are a paid up member. Perhaps that functionality could be added to here?

Yea just delete from inbox and sent box then block should get rid of problem users.

Thankfully most of us are genuine and can understand when enough is enough.

If you go to your the sent messages page to look up the messages you want to delete. On the right hand side of the message you want to delete is a waste bin, just tap that and the sent message will be deleted

It just deletes for you, you can't recall a sent message as you can an email xx

The person deleted their profile if everything disappeared. Blocking means that the profile is blocked from accessing your profile xx

If you block someone all your messages still remain in their inbox. If they have unread messages from you, they can still open them and read them.

A block simply stops them looking at your profile, nothing else.

I agree with this observation. It's always struck me as odd that you cannot recall/withdraw/unsend messages on Fguys. It does on the whole a giod job but it falls slightly short on this one aspect ? ✉️ 📨
