Using advanced search this morning to see who was about but there is a problem with the list as 4 of the 6 guys it's showing as online are actually not online when I checked their profile and some haven't been online for 30+minutes.

Some of the guys shown as off line are actually online if you check their profiles.

This should be an easy fix but it's constantly broken.

I've noticed this too. It seems like the pages of the site are not in sync with each other.

Many times I've sent a message to someone because they are showing as online, but as soon as the message has been sent it turns out they're offline. Happens far too often for it to be coincidence that they've logged off at the exact moment I hit send.

Hi. I posted a similar thread about 2 months ago. The replies I got said that refreshing people on line in real time would be too expensive for the site, so there is always a lag between logging on?off and it showing on line. Not my opinion but just what others said. Its really annoying though!

It's not even just that, though. Some pages show a person online and others show them last online 20-30 minutes ago. If all the pages were wrong together, it wouldn't be so bad.
