FabGuys.com forum: Abusive messages, is something done about it?

Today someone I never chatted with before contacted me claiming "his friend" told him about me, that "I blocked him straight after he sent me pictures" - which is usually not my style at all - but most of all, he proceeded to call me names, and then blocked me after calling me princess and "weirdo", while I tried to explain myself.

I've reported the incident to the admins, but I wonder... is anything truly done with this sort of things? Can someone drop an insulting message out of the blue, block and leave with no consequences?

I've received some "forum restrictions" twice cause i was being a bit too straightforward in commenting, and it was fair. I hope the same applies to random abuse on private messages.

I've had abuse sent to em reported it and the profile was deleted as far as I could tell. I couldn't find the profile in a search and neither could a friend I asked to check.

But as others will point out. They generally just start a new account and come back. I'd say there isn't anything else admin could do

I reported that profile, let's see what happens. It's so random, makes no sense to me to message someone to send an abusive message, no matter the claim.

You won't know what happened. Admin do deal with abuse if verified though, be that a warning, a multi day ban or a profile being disabled
