If you delete an unread message can it still be den by the recipient?

If you block them, will the message still be seen?

Not overly sure what you are asking.

If you delete a message without reading it the sender will know. It comes up saying (deleted).

They can see this even if you've blocked them

Clarifying…I sent a message to someone, and I’d like to unsend it. If I delete it, will they still be able to read it?

Yes. You cannot unsend. They'll get it when they come on. But if you block them, they cannot respond

If you block them they will still have the unread message in their inbox and will still be able to open and read it.

If you leave the site then all messages that you sent to people disappear except those in Forum posts.

Might be a bit too drastic however
