Would it be possible to have a function to delete unseen messages like on WhatsApp. For example you message someone then they go offline for hours and circumstances change and you need to delete the message

Click on the there name at the top

Scroll down until you see clear chat

Click and it clears

In Mail and Sent Mail, on each message there is a dustbin icon to the right hand side of the message box. Click on that and it deletes the message from your device. I don't know what happens to the other persons device.

I’ve found it’s too easy to hit delete without meaning to. I’ve been grateful for the undelete function on a few occasions 🤌😉

You can only delete the messages for yourself, not for the recipient

Why would you be able to delete messages in someone’s else’s inbox🤦🏼‍♂️

Only way the messages will be deleted from someone else’s profile is if you delete your account.
