I quite like the format - clear and simple - annoying click bait stuff has never attracted me - there are many similar sites out there doing that !

Quicker updates naught be the only improvement I’d suggest

That’s like voluntarily going to a pub, moaning that it’s shit and the landlord won’t change it to suit your specific tastes, but returning every Friday night anyway.

If you don’t like it, there are other pubs.

They did update the messaging part a while back. In any case, it works and I’m not that fussed about what it looks like. I wish they’d expand the regional bits of the forums, but they’ve been asked over and over and haven’t, so I assume there is a reason.

Well a couple of things that a lot of people have been asking for quite a lot.

1. Better categories for some things in the profile (Role, Smoker etc.) and search options to use them.

2. Regional Forums (South East, South Central, South West etc. working up the country) to connect with more local information.

However as already pointed out all these requests seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

Only thing I would add is the ability to edit a post after you have written it and realise that there are glaring errors of syntax or spelling. The only option at present seems to be to copy, delete and paste onto a new post making necessary corrections.

I've been using Fabguys for quite a number of years, I find it simple to use, has the advantage of uncomplicated and free or fee paying subscription and it seems to work reasonably well.

The old adages of "KISS" ("Keep It Simple, Stupid") and "If it ain't broke don't fix it!" forever ring true.

Perhaps now is an appropriate time to offer a vote of thanks to the admin team who beaver away, quietly in the background, keeping it all in good working order and occasionally sending us out to grass if we step out of line and contravene the simple site rules.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.

I’ve been on this site 7 years, probably 6 &1/2 of those as a silver supporter.

Personally, I think this site is one of, if not the best, out there. Very user friendly, even for a technophobe like me. Better than Gr***er, or Sq**t.

Agree with the comments about regional forums, but apart from that; carry on being Fab!

Theres so many small qualify of life changes like that, which are really needed. It wouldn't cost much at all. It's very sad to see so little investment. I would personally love to see a separate section in the forums for all the panty and wife/women posts/threads. A few mins of coding....

Tbh, I love this app. Ok, it's not perfect, but which app is?

The negatives:

To many swingers and mysogenists wanting to talk about wives or girlfriends etc. recently.

The positives:

It's easy to use, easy to navigate.

It has far more features than other more expensive apps.

It is very affordable, with several payment options and membership levels.

The reliable structure and design layout works for me: easy to use/navigate, with useful enhancements for supporters.

Any negatives (for me) only arise from inconsistent/ill-considered/changed application of site rules and the increasingly unattractive content uploaded and posted by users (fortunately, with more effort than a couple of years ago, I can still find much to like… and use/be used by 😛😋🤩).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Agree with the above, but there is some (could be improved) suggestions which come up regularly and are causing the people who use the site some issues.

1. Wider spread of options for things like “Role” and associated searches.

2. Regional Forums (e.g. South East, South Central, South West, and stripped up the country) to help connect people more locally, the current options just cover too much ground.

Well I’m not basing the statement on my or your personal experience, but on the number of different threads that have been posted before with people complaining because of their experience (eg people looking for “Versatile” only to find added text saying mostly bottom now) in their search results, or people asking for more local forums (at the moment “London” seems to cover everywhere from Dover to Lands end and Portsmouth to Birmingham). I admit it does look like I missed out a “some” in the statement which should be “some of the people”.

"The costs will go up and they will pass on.

On the contrary. Yes with AI it is easier to do and technically cheaper but the amount of time it takes to develop a site like this is massive (I develop membership sites so that’s coming from experience). Then you have to factor in hosting costs, the new cost of doing age/ID verification, the costs associated with having to use a payment provider that accepts payments from this type of site, etc, the costs soon add up.

As a member for many years I have seen very little change in this site. I think the only big change I’ve seen was to messaging.

If you look at the tech stack the site uses it’s technically not outdated but it is old and it would make updates quite difficult and time consuming = expensive to do. It is frustrating that the feedback section is completely ignored though. Some of the things like adding additional forum categories should be reasonably simple to do so there must be other reasons why they don’t do it. Maybe they just aren’t interested in the community anymore and the money has taken over.

Please don't change it. Getting fed-up with so many things changing and often getting so complicated that we not-so-technically-savvy struggle to use them. online banking and over things like insurance companies and even the AA are more difficult to use now. I'm happy with the site the way it is. Perhaps minor improvements could be made like addition regional forums and separating cds, tv and ts instead of lumping them together. Some updates do happen. Some 'forbidden' words are now allowed.

I like it. It's rare these days to have a site that's not driven by algorithms and engagement trying to make you doomscroll forever.

It might be "old-fashioned" in that you need to put some work in to get results and find what you want for yourself by engaging, but that makes it way better than the likes of Sqrt or Grndr

Been on this platform over ten years, agree it could be updated,to include more regional areas...BUT, I like the format, yes it has it's faults/not perfect. Despite them it works and lots of guys on the platform show it is popular. Not sure I want more than what I already get, certainly don't want to be paying out lots of cash for similar service. If it's not to your, or anyone else's requirements/ satisfaction, you're all allowed to leave and try the alternatives.

This forum you're using now to complain you wouldn't get on other apps.

The verifications which are extremely useful you don't get on other apps.

Webcam rooms, a posting events etc, the list is endless

Membership fees are very reasonable and your not punished by annoying ads like the market leader provides.

There's loads to explore so if you don't like it you've got a pair of legs so just walk away.

I love the simplicity of FabGuys and don't need the UI to change.

A very easy improvement, and not costly at all, is to add more options for Interests and a couple better options in some of the Profile details.

I love the site. Thank you to all who help run it.

The only thing on my wishlist is to have a bigger inbox. I'd willingly pay a bit extra for this facility.

I've been inactive for 3 years or so and, now I'm back, I'm getting so many messages that they start dropping off the bottom of the inbox list. Yes, I can get them back by saving and then deleting from my inbox, but it's a bit of a pain. Scared I'm going to lose thr chance of a meet with my prince!

Guess it's a bit risky posting this - it might generate a load more messages
