There needs to be a way to report people from a message as I just received a homophobic message and then they blocked me so I'm unable to report them and that shouldn't be okay

You can report the message, click on the link in the message. Doesn't matter that they blocked. Sorry you've experienced it. Some dicks about, and not the right kind of dick either.
