It would be nice if each story had condensed comments rather than 50 or 100 making a comment for the sake of it

Or maybe a thumbs up and down counter, which will help give encouragement to continue or not continue story

Trouble is that with a 175 post limit on a thread it can quickly close down a story.

I agree, I've on a few occasions written stories and if you don't get comments or feedback you don't know if guys enjoy them, therefore you don't know whether to continue (it is quite a bit of work writing it all). But endless comments also means you hit the 175 limit quickly and guys who are following the story think there's been a new instalment rather than just a comment. Not sure what the answer is.
