Last cam post shut down without conversation

As per my post about "Cam" threads in the forums

I get that you can't post your usernames and phone. Numbers on forums.

However I have saw threads shut down for simply saying what app the person is using without usernames, is my bone of contention. Surly that is allowed? Posting the app but no further details to allow people to message privately to dare that with each other. Just as long as its out the main thread?

Which is why they are removed as explained.
