Does anyone know how often "Who's near me" refreshes and you.appear in the new place?

Seems to be very variable. If I look at who's near a guy can show as being online but when you go into the profile he can be off for 5 or more minutes

Yeah but what I mean is, if a guy says 1.5 miles and is driving in the car, how long before it refreshes and he is somewhere else? Like is it 5 mins, 10?

If I went out driving about and forgot to turn it off would I show as being somewhere else within 5 minutes is what I want to know

I read somewhere on here a while ago that it refreshes every 6 minutes or so.

I've no idea if that's true though.

It probably depends upon how often you interact with the site as it does not poll you to confirm your location so it inly knows where are when you are active.

Bear in mind also that there are thousands of interent dead zones in the uk

Ha ha. All the who's near me around me don't seem to meet or chat.

But now my mobile operator changed I can acceas fab outside so I can have a look when I am out and about. Might find something promising!!

Ive found i need to manually refresh it if ive left my own area, otherwise it still thinks im at home... If that answers your query
