I think profile users need to have the ability to delete verifications from their profile (not hide, delete) and delete ones they’ve made to others that feel that that verification is no longer valid.

What’s the thinking behind this? What’s the actual issue? What does “no longer valid” mean?

A verification captures a point in time and your interaction with someone at that time.

Rule 1: Only write something for someone else that you would be happy to see published and other people reading. Don’t write it otherwise!

Rule 2: You have complete control over what you publish on your own profile. You can hide something that you were happy publishing previously but have now decided you don’t want everyone to read.

If someone verified you in the past and for some reason it feels “out of date” (for instance, you fucked them but these days you are only a bottom) then simply hide it, if it is a concern. If you verified someone else in the past but it feels “out of date”, how does this impinge on you? And you can always message them and ask them to hide it, if there is some profound reason.

If you fall out with someone or don’t want the site to show you have verified each other - blocking them will remove a verification on your profile from them and on their profile from you.

The site currently and surely allows you to do anything needed in this regard.

Pray tell me, how can a valid verification become invalid? The mind boggles.

I can imagine that someone wasn't what they seemed to be - may have behaved badly or told lies.

Then you wouldn’t have verified them, would you..?

If you found out subsequently they were a liar or worse, you’d block them and then any previous verifications would disappear.

Am I missing something..?

Oh, you mean if I have a verification that says I'm great at sucking cock, but now I feel I'm not so good?

I can't imagine why you'd change your mind about a verification!!!

It is a bizarre concept. I’m still trying to understand what the OP means and hope he will elaborate.

If you always leave a true and honest verification for someone, I can’t understand why there is ever a problem years later etc.

I’ve left verifications for some men I wouldn’t meet these days (for various reasons) but what I said was meant and merited at the time.

If you've changed your mind about a previous meeting, just block the person you had met, and both verifications you had left each other will disappear. Simples.

A verification captures a moment. I’m unlikely to leave one if it wasn’t a good moment and wouldn’t publish one I didn’t think was fair and accurate.
